I’m excited to see where it goes as it improves. That said, there are a few issues that need attention: • Some calls don’t go through, and I end up with missed calls that slip through the cracks. • The app doesn’t always bypass certain contacts I want it to. A few features that would make a big difference: • A power dialer to run through multiple contacts quickly. • Better audio quality on calls. Looking forward to seeing these improvements—this app has serious potential. ### 5/5 — Automates tasks and calendar events and takes recordings and transcripts *2023-10-31, version 3.11.58* This app is exactly what I've been looking for. It automatically summarizes each phone call or recorded meeting and assigns tasks that it automatically detected to each participant. It also creates calendar entries for events that were discussed. The user interface is easy to use and understand and I really enjoy that the caller ID is displayed correctly. This app makes it so easy to remember what I spoke about, and creates tasks and even calendar events. Personally for me, it’s been the best thing I’ve ever used. Absolutely incredible customer service too! Every Realtor and really every business owner needs this. It’s the only app of its kind. I know because I’ve looked high and low for something that would automatically record when someone calls. It discloses to the other party that their call is being recorded and the AI will transcribe the conversation automatically so you don’t have to go fishing for hours to find a specific conversation. The workspace feature allows you to search for key words and take you to the exact conversation you’re looking for. Seriously a game changer for a business person that has many calls a day and has a hard time keeping up. This has saved me time & energy and improved my service! Please give it a shot. It’s the #1 subscription I have & use. I have it on all my team members phones too! ### 5/5 — My absolute favorite and essential app *2022-09-24, version 3.10.16* The Productive app is the closest thing to a personal assistant. It tells me who’s calling before my phone rings and if the contact is in my CRM, it brings up my notes for a quick refresher. It records my conversation so I can be “in the moment” and allows me to hit mute during the call and record a note (while I’m on the call!). When the call is finished, it prompts me to record another note. Then the recording attaches to my CRM record, which is a huge timesaver. It allows me to multi-task and free up my limited headspace to better serve my business and my clients. Productive delivers exactly what they promise - productivity! It takes notes for me after my calls, tells me who is calling me, using information from my CRM, and it can record and transcribe your phone calls, if you choose. And best of all, the information I want stored, is automatically saved to my CRM. 🎉💯Great App! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Bad operating system *2026-07-23, version 3.12.193* I downloaded the app and within hours I realized that it was not functioning correctly, so I deleted the app. since, the technology built into the app, has taken over my phone, and I am not getting calls. I’ve reached out to the company and they have not responded after days. I cannot recommend this app . ### 1/5 — Don’t install *2025-02-07, version 3.12.110* The app will not uninstall completely and I can no longer receive phone calls ### 1/5 — Won’t stop redirecting my calls after uninstall *2024-12-03, version 3.12.90* I uninstalled this app months ago but it still redirects some of my calls forcing me to miss some important calls. I followed the instructions exactly as directed multiple times yet it still hijacks some of my calls. Extremely frustrating. Shouldn’t be this difficult to uninstall ### 1/5 — Controls your device and access everything on your phone. *2024-06-17* Be careful about this app. My passwords and all sensitive information was compromised after installing this app. My bank’s tech support ran a remote test on my phone which took couple of hours. ### 1/5 — Is this legal? *2024-05-09, version 3.12.53* Is it legal for the app to record calls or listen in on them without notifying the other person or getting their permission? ### 1/5 — This Cost Money! *2022-05-11, version 3.8.11* It says no in app purchases but that is a straight up lie. There is a 2 week trial and they start charging you like every other app in here does. Which by the way is illegal to not disclose fees you have associated with your app. ### 2/5 — Good luck canceling *2026-03-23, version 3.12.169* I did a trial and then one week. I realized I couldn’t get a single call without going through this app and I immediately regretted deleting it. I wanted to be able to choose which phone calls are recorded or not. Even after disabling, deleting account and completely removing the app from my phone, phone calls were STILL going through this app even though I didn’t have access to it. Zero way to switch it over. I’m on the phone with Verizon support while I’m supposed to be working and receiving phone calls. Do not recommend doing this. This has caused me a lot of stress and issues. Gave them 2 stars for productive support being super responsive but only 2 for being zero help and not being able to do anything ### 2/5 — Awful Reliability *2026-02-06, version 3.12.167* Calls drop constantly. Often times callers can’t hear me but I can hear them. Regularly the app will hang up a call before I can answer. The hooks needed to set this app up are ultra confusing to get undone and if you use a trial, BE AWARE, at the end if you don’t cancel you will no longer receive phone calls. They go into the Productive cloud and you can’t access your voicemails or call logs until you pay for the app. You can’t just cancel and stop using it at the end of the trial - YOUR PHONE IS HIJACKED and you have to pay to un-hijack it. Great concept but sucky execution. Support is non-existent; go ahead and click on App Support and you’ll see what I’m saying. 👆 ### 2/5 — See the purpose / but glitched *2025-10-15, version 3.12.137* Love the concept and I can see how it could be so useful … but after a week … I had too many issues … delete … then it took me a day to work out why I was not getting phone calls (after log out and delete) my calls where still being call forwarded… P i T A ### 4/5 — The chosen one, don’t mess it up *2025-03-27, version 3.12.122* This app is the GOAT call assistant! Though recently there’s been too many detrimental issues: Call delay: anything I say, the other line hears 3-5 seconds later and they feel like I’m talking over them while I feel I’m responding in real time. Call dropping: If the call (only for incoming calls specifically) even lasts but 1 second before dropping, it will last 15-20 seconds before dropping. These problems were not issues in the version of this app when I first got it (early 2024). I would say revert back to that version if possible. Please don’t make us go to Otter Ai ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Best call recorder and notetaker *2026-06-20, version 3.12.193* So I have read a couple of the reviews on here and I see people complaining about canceling the service or not being able to get phone calls if you talk to Support they will tell you some of the phone carriers are not supported and the ones that aren’t like Verizon has an issue. You have to just insert the phone number into the call forwarding part and dial *62 or something like that I can’t remember what it is but you can Google it and it’ll tell you how to do it how to activate call forwarding for Verizon but it’s not just that I’ve used this app for many years and it is one of the best apps I’ve ever used it takes thorough notes and records very good. ### 5/5 — The only of it’s kind *2025-03-20, version 3.12.112* This is the best app for productivity especially if you own your own business, I’m a realtor and an Insurance Agent. This keeps the details from my calls with clients in audio and script. It also automatically sets the appointment with a brief note on what the appointments about then sends it to my google or Apple calendar. It makes the entire process easier. shockingly, I’m so glad I was able to have the opportunity to get this app while it’s free. I’m sure they are going to start charging in the future. I’m guessing because they want to make sure all the kinks are worked out first. Which I only had one issue with it not recording calls from unknown callers once. But the customer service chat helped fix it in no time. I just pray they allow the one who already got it to still be able to keep it free. I really don’t need another business expense. Although for this app, it would definitely be worth it. I promise you there is absolutely no app like it. I have tried them all and they pretty much don’t even compare. The closest one would be M1 Pro ai but Productive still blows them out of the water. Give it a try. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing, I just pick up the phone and know that the app will be listening and to help me with tasks events, and also give me summary of the call. My biggest fear is forgetting things, and unfortunately is a big trait of ADHD, but now am on top of everything. It has helped me remember to follow up with people, which has help me keep clients and make more money. I used to lose a deal here or there because I would forget to follow up, but with this it helps me stay organized. I LOVE ITTTTT!!! ### 5/5 — This product was made for me, specifically! *2024-04-04, version 3.12.50* My team’s biggest complaint about me is that I never put notes in my CRM. My biggest excuse is “oops I always forget.” Or “I thought I did.” My calls that I log on my cell phone are RARELY logged in Salesforce. So it looks like I’m not talking to people when really, I am. This app fixed everything! with its technology to automatically log calls into Salesforce, and the added bonus of creating tasks intuitively based on the conversation that was had, it set me up for success 10 times more than I was before. I’m so excited! This is the best thing that’s ever happened to me! Thank you, Productive ai!!!! ### 5/5 — Really awesome features *2023-12-18, version 3.12.23* I’ve had this app awhile, it’s been invaluable. A few things to note: Onboarding: 5/5 was easy, has a video for reach step and walks you through every setting. Ease of use: 5/5 once set up, calls come in and if you already have them in your contacts, calls aren’t recorded. (That’s a setting) but for new calls, it logs the notes, and creates calendar events for next steps! Wow moment: I received a phone call from a new #, the AI assistant took all the notes, and created perfectly placed calendar events related to the call.
