## What is Productivity Journal?

By having a maximum of three to five tasks a day, doing the most important task first, and working on only one task at a time you will be able to finish the project that you have been procrastinating on and achieve great things.

* Create and Manage Tasks
* Plan your Week
* Plan your Day
* Break down tasks into Subtasks
* Track your time using the coutndown timer
* Review your Weekly Progress

The Technique:
1. Decide on a clear task that you want to focus on and break it down into subtasks that will take you at least 25 minutes to do.
2. Start the timer and begin working on the task. You can never do half of a session. Do not work on anything else. If you get distracted, gently bring yourself back to work. If your distraction pulls you away from the task at hand, reset the timer and start again. Over time, this technique will condition you to focus exclusively on the task at hand, and will increase your productivity and discipline.
3. Once the timer ends, time for a mini-celebration! Get up, stretch, get some more water, do a happy dance. You have 5 minutes of break time until you start the next session.

### 5/5 — Productivity journal

*2018-07-12*

Productivity app is very useful app. Must use the app

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2017-08-14*

You don't really have to have experience with the Pomodoro technique. The app guides you through. It's awesome. Having issues when dividing tasks into more detailed parts though. Editing the subtasks text it's not working for me. I tapped but nothing happens.

**Developer response:** Thank you for using the app Alberto! To edit a subtasks, you need to swipe it to the left.

### 4/5 — Great, but has few kinks

*2016-12-19*

The app is a great adaptation of the paper journal, but there are some issues I'm running into. I'm not clear on how to change the priorities of the tasks once it's created, and changes I was making to an existing task were not being saved even after clicking the 'save' button. A nice feature would be to drag and move tasks around. Otherwise, I'm excited to use the pomadoro method to be more productive!

**Developer response:** Hi Nick, I've added task sorting for weekly and daily tasks. As for the saving issue, it happened when you completely emptied your task list. It has been fixed in the latest release. Have a look, there are a few new features available.
