Every time the app is opened it just shows a background and then crashes after 10 seconds. Once in a blue moon it’ll work and then it’s nice. But most of the time you’re not getting in.

The app kicked me out and then it wouldn’t allow me to login again. It changed my password and won’t allow me to receive a password reset email. This sucks and is costing me money. Please fix immediately.

It’s been over a week now and I still can’t see who is at my front door.
After switching internet providers, the doorbell camera shows “Connection Failed” (which is expected), but the Progress Smart Home app force closes every single time I try to update the Wi-Fi settings to my new 2.4 GHz network. This happens consistently on my iPhone, my daughter’s phone, and my iPad, even with completely fresh installs on the other devices. I’ve contacted Rently support (who confirmed it sounds like an app bug), opened multiple tickets with Progress Residential, and I’m still waiting for escalation to the development team. I pay the monthly Smart Home fee for this service, yet the core video function is completely unusable. Please escalate this to your developers and fix the crashing issue so I can actually use the doorbell camera I’m paying for. Screenshots available upon request.

I switched Internet providers so in order to see who's at my front door I have to set up the doorbell as a new doorbell but when I do that in the smart home app it instantly force closes me I also tried to reset Wi-Fi in the app and it force closed me please fix this developer. I tried it with my iPad my other iPhone and this iPhone -all different apple ids!

I switched internet providers I simply need to update the wifi and after trying to setup doorbell video again on my phone, my kids phone, my iPad, the smart home app force closes. Completely exits out entire app! So I tried settings reset wifi in app, same thing! Developer seriously PLEASE get it together and fix these issues! These small coding issues like this is super annoying!

It was just fine before it was changed to have everything in one place.  Everything was fine and it should’ve been left alone.  All the extra should have been added to the resident app not the smart home. I hate this.  Now I can barely control the thermostat.  The app barely wants to respond.  No one asked for this unnecessary change. Also, having to get a code for the resident app now instead of entering the password was a huge pain as well.  Who is making these changes? They’re not good.
