### 2/5 — App no longer being updated

*2019-10-10, version 1.2.2*

Developer didn’t respond to questions. App is no longer being maintained. Also, the year is missing from the images, so if you’re tracking your progress over more than one year it can get pretty confusing what you’re looking at when flicking through the images.

### 2/5 — Good but bad

*2018-08-19, version 1.2.2*

There aren't much apps out there, so its good for what is out there, but it is bad for its potential. They could have made it better :/

### 3/5 — Good app but buggy

*2018-01-28, version 1.2.1*

My weight starts at 0 lb every time and the scrolling is tedious. Would be nice to have it default to my last weight entry or have an option to enter a weight directly. Also, at 70 photos my app has begun crashing during every other export.

### 3/5 — Also getting 0 weights.

*2018-01-13, version 1.2.1*

Same error, hope it's fixed soon. Also, suggestion...

1) Type in weight also, not just scroll
2) import pictures for old days from photo feed

### 2/5 — Buggy. Not Sensible defaults

*2018-01-07, version 1.2*

I’m guessing it is a bug. I have to set my weight scrolling from 0 eveeeeeeeeery time. I did grant access to the healthkit weight data to the app. I was assuming it would use that :-/ could it at least default the weight value to the previous day value in case HealthKit reading fails somehow? So time consuming to have to scroll to my weight from 0. Also nobody weighs 0. Default the first value to average user weight 160lbs or something like that.
Anyways it’s not usable now. I would gladly pay for a working version. Please make this app not free so you have an incentive to maintain it. $5.00 is what I would be willing to pay for it.

### 3/5 — Interface needs some work

*2017-08-16, version 1.1.7*

It's currently too easy to accidentally delete photos. Tweak the interface a bit and you'll have a really decent app.

### 3/5 — Great concept, some problems

*2017-06-01, version 1.1.7*

I really like this app and I'd use it more often if not for the amount it crashes and how easy it is to accidentally permanently delete a photo by swiping! Really annoying and can actually defeat the purpose of the app entirely.

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2017-05-01, version 1.1.5*

Like the idea but would like a lock on the app, also recently it keeps crashing after inputting weight? Please fix this issue

### 2/5 — Simple, but dangerous

*2017-03-05, version 1.1.4*

Decent execution. Photos not saved to a photo collection. Swipe up seems to delete progress with no confirmation????

### 3/5 — It's a start

*2016-12-22, version 1.1.4*

It's an ok App, but it's missing a lot of features, the ability to change weight and delete pictures for example.
It's a good idea but needs work.

### 3/5 — Good Start, Has a Bug

*2016-03-29, version 1.1.1*

Decent app but crashes after switching between apps. It doesn't look like it pulls current weight from HealthKit so when I switch apps to get a recorded weight and enter it in, it crashes when I switch back. I think once these bugs are fixed it will be a very helpful app.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Exports crash

*2020-12-26, version 1.2.2*

Good app for taking pictures, but export crashes so defeats the purpose of the app.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2020-07-06, version 1.2.2*

You can’t import photos from your camera roll, and it’s also seemingly impossible to delete any photos that you took from within the app and replace them. I assume that can’t possibly be true, but I could not for the life of me figure out how to do it, possibly because the UI is designed so poorly. For example, the “Edit,” settings, and other functions are translucent, which makes them almost impossible to see if the area of the photo underneath them happens to be a little too bright. It’s maddening how there doesn’t seem to be any app that can handle this simple function of overlaying photos to show progress. Maybe it’s not as simple as it seems? Who knows.

### 1/5 — Crashes a lot!

*2020-04-11, version 1.2.2*

I loved this app at first. And it was free. I was loosing weight, and I could see my progress. Sending it to video was also a really cool feature. Then once I got more than 70 in, the app crashed when making the videos. I’d have to try many times before it would work. I’d close all other apps and reboot with the same results. Now I’m 102 days in and it crashes EVERY time I try to make the video. I reinstall it but I don’t want to loose my history as I’m proud of it. That’s my main objection by far.

I love the feature of showing a water mark in the background so the new picture lines up. The problem is it shows the last picture (not the first one), so over time the image can drift. I had to put tape on my screen and mark where my eyes were in the first pic and edit many to correct the drifting.

Lastly, it would be great if there was a quick comparison between the first and last pic, or at 0,30,60,90 days.

But again it was free.

### 1/5 — Can’t take selfie with camera

*2019-05-12, version 1.2.2*

Selfie option doesn’t work

### 1/5 — Bugs and Annoyances

*2018-01-19, version 1.2.1*

Latest version still defaults to 0 lbs., rendering the app essentially useless.

No options that Ii can see to reconnect to health data.

Crashes when exporting selfies, which is one of its only functions.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2018-01-08, version 1.2*

No option to turn camera back or forward. “Ghost image” that helps you orient previous day’s photo is just a reference photo that you have to try to duplicate then align images after you take the photo. Then it asks for that day’s weight, which you enter by sweeping right in half pound increments, which takes a few minutes to reach weight. Has potential but current version is absolutely useless.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2018-01-08, version 1.2*

Took first photo, crashed for second photo. Tried multiple times, but not working. Great idea if it worked.

### 1/5 — Deleted!

*2017-01-21, version 1.1.4*

Photos are far far too easy to delete. If you swipe upwards slightly while flicking through your photos it deletes them and there's no way to retrieve them! Photos aren't saved in your library either so I've just lost my original progress picture. Very demotivating and I'm so disappointed that I trusted an app with something as important as my progress photos.

### 1/5 — No security

*2017-01-08, version 1.1.4*

Surprised I could not find a security setting on this app. Surely you would like to keep your progress private.

### 1/5 — It crashes a lot

*2016-05-12, version 1.1.3*

It has crashed too much! And my phone isn't even that old!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — There a bug

*2019-12-08, version 1.2.2*

There is a bug with exporting that crashes the app when you click the button

### 5/5 — Easiest Progress photo app

*2019-05-08, version 1.2.2*

This progress photo app is my favorite as it is to the point and I don’t waste any time on pointless features or distractions

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2018-04-17, version 1.2.2*

Simple, intuitive, and free... how every app should be.

### 5/5 — Needs an option to remove the weight as an overlay

*2018-01-08, version 1.2*

Title

### 5/5 — A big help to dieting

*2017-04-04, version 1.1.5*

I absolutely love this app! It's a really clever way to track your weight loss/weight gain journey. I've lost a couple of stone over the last couple of months, and having the changes highlighted through pictures is a huge help. The app allows you to align your photos so that when you convert it into a video you get so much satisfaction from seeing the progress. I recently had a problem with it and one of the app designers replied within the hour- couldn't ask for more! Can't wait to get to my weight goal so I can show everyone the progression video :)

### 5/5 — 5 star

*2016-03-31, version 1.1.1*

Great app! Love how you can see the picture from the previous day to adjust the picture you're taking.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2016-03-22, version 1.1.1*

Awesome job. Keeping it smooth and simple. Glad you fixed those bugs. Changing the weight was a pain. So Much scrolling lol

### 4/5 — Amazing, useful, but not without a major flaw

*2019-02-27, version 1.2.2*

been using this app for almost a year to track gains and whilst i’ve had no problems with the functionality of the app the major draw back is after around 3 months in, whenever I now attempt to export all the photos into a video the app crashes immediately and kicks me back onto the dashboard/app screen. Would love to be able to export the video with all the pictures to better see progression rather than having to use the swipe feature. Just scrapes a 4 star from me, 5 for definitely if this gets fixed! :-)

### 4/5 — App needs some work

*2016-03-19, version 1.1*

Ignores the weight I put in and resets to the starting weight when I take the first picture. Difficult to figure out how to edit the weight once in.

### 3/5 — Shocked

*2018-05-17, version 1.2.2*

There’s no password at all to such a personal journey.

I take selfies in my underwear and I don’t want anyone else looking at it.
