Fitbod is $15.99 a month with no free tier, and its top complaints are the paywall defaulting to annual when you picked monthly, and being charged while the app stays locked. Progression is $9.99 a month, $69.99 a year, or $99.99 once, forever. EVERY NUMBER IS SHOWN, AND EVERY NUMBER IS ARITHMETIC Estimated maxes come from Epley, Brzycki and two others, and Progression tells you which one it used on each point — so changing your preferred formula does not silently rewrite your history. Volume is counted as hard sets per muscle per week and you can see the count. No black box. No score you cannot check. YOUR RECOVERY DATA ACTUALLY CHANGES THE BAR HRV, resting heart rate, sleep and wrist temperature are read each morning and turned into a load multiplier — shown as one auditable line, not a colour or a vibe.
