Downloaded app and it doesn’t accept my policy number and name. Back to keeping their phone number saved in my phone. At least that still works. ### 1/5 — Do not waste your time *2022-05-06* Progressive should be ashamed of sending emails to people telling them to download an app that is impossible to get past one or two pages. If I need this service I’ll call and wouldn’t be surprised if they leave me on the water based off how the app works. It’s too bad, it sounds like it could be useful feature of my progressive boat insurance. ### 1/5 — App does not work *2022-04-30, version 3.4.2* I open and there is nothing there, app keeps crashing. ### 1/5 — Oops! Something went wrong. *2022-04-29* The app is practically useless. It displays a very basic weather summary and the map/gps coordinates are correct. When opening any of the other menu items (like vessel and insurance information) all you see is “Oops something went wrong! Try again.” I gave up several months ago, but just tried again after the latest update. Same results. ### 1/5 — Sign and Sink *2022-04-25, version 3.4.2* I can’t even get past the initial enrollment! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2022-04-23* I got an email from Progressive today to download this app to get help and make it easier if I need a tow while on my boat. I downloaded it, entered my information, hit enter and was promptly booted off the app. Now when I tap on the app, I get a blank screen and then it returns to my home screen. I would have thought that a major company like Progressive would have worked the bugs out before sending it out to their clients to download and use! ### 1/5 — Crashes when opened *2022-04-23* Downloaded twice to see if the first time was flawed. Put in policy number and signed in, crashed every time. iPhone X with current software. I could see my boat info for about 2 seconds and then crashed. Enjoy using the app! ### 5/5 — Great App & Service *2022-03-31* I’ve had Sign & Glide for years and they do a great job of finding you the closest tower where your stranded. The app is awesome once you log in with your policy info and name, this way The dispatch center knows your exact coordinates and so will the tower! If you have any trouble signing in just delete the app and reinstall as it’s been upgraded. Super easy and you now have instant access to a tow! I've been lucky enough to not need a tow yet, but I still use the app to check weather and tide information. I like that I could call the 24/7 dispatch line with one click if I ever needed it. ### 4/5 — Updated review from initial fail *2023-09-05, version 3.4.5* Update from my initial review below. I haven’t had to use it yet, but it’s working now. What a lot of people might be doing wrong is trying to log onto this too soon after signing up. Download this a week after your start date and that will probably do it. I installed it too early and they didn’t have all my information in, so it didn’t recognize me. I just signed up with Progressive and wanted to make sure I know how to access the Sign and Glide option in case I need on the water towing. I downloaded the app and it won’t let me sign in. It asks for the policy number and your zip code. I put them in and it says, “Incorrect Credentials! Please check your account/policy and last name then try again.” Ummmm, it never asked for my last name and there’s no line for it. This is ridiculous. Fix this thing. Is there anything more critical than connecting for a tow on the water? It could be life or death. Get this right. ### 3/5 — No support for IOS app logging plus obscure app name *2024-04-07* Apps should make use of Apple’s Associated Domains support to assure that the Password Manager gets contextual info about the app when attempting to use the Autofill functionality. As it stands now, you have to manually enter (or paste) the login credentials when you open the app. Also, since this app is only rarely used by most users, (when they are in their boat and need a tow) the app name should be something that relates to its use. In this case, the name ‘Sign&Glide’ isn’t even close. Something like ‘Boat Tow’ would be a lot better. In summary, the last thing you want to do when you need a boat tow is to search through a list of 100 apps to find the right one - only to have to cut and paste the login credentials from your password app of choice once you find it. ### 3/5 — Can log in to the app but it runs slowly *2022-05-06* I can log into the app, although it runs pretty slowly. But good lord, are you guys on here that lazy to where you can’t save the vessel assist phone number, that was also in the email in your phone contacts? It’s also on the sign in page of the app. Stop being lazy, call the phone number instead of relying on the app to do everything for you. And not breaking down or running over a sandbar, being an idiot and so forth also help lol ### 2/5 — Bill Glock *2022-05-09* Downloaded the app ok…BUT, it shows my insurance as expired…when it has been paid in full. How can a company as big as Progressive be so slow and behind the times ??
