## What is Project Calibrate?

Project Calibrate brings practical measurement, unit conversion, and device-inspection tools into one native iPhone and iPad app.

Use Project Calibrate to convert units, estimate level and slope, inspect device motion and heading data, view relative sound and light readings, check magnetic-field changes, and access camera-assisted tools such as Magnifier, Mirror, and Flashlight when the device supports them.

Included tools:

• Unit Converter with physical units and current currency-rate support
• Level and Angle / Slope tools
• Sound, Vibration, Compass, Magnetic Field, and Light Meter tools
• Flashlight on supported devices, plus Magnifier and Mirror
• Device Capabilities, Calibration Settings, Permission Status, and Accuracy & Privacy information

Project Calibrate is designed around clear availability states. Unsupported hardware is handled gracefully, and permission-gated tools explain what is needed before access is requested.

A single guided tour teaches the app browser, search, filters, settings, and Unit Converter workflow. Other tools are intentionally simple and self-explanatory.

Accuracy notes: Project Calibrate is intended for general-purpose utility use. Camera, microphone, motion, light, magnetic, and heading readings depend on device hardware, calibration, mounting, environment, and permissions. Sound and light tools provide relative consumer readings rather than certified laboratory measurements.

Privacy notes: Project Calibrate does not require an account. Calibration settings, preferences, converter favorites, and cached currency rates are stored locally on device. Camera and microphone tools process live inputs while the relevant tool is open and do not save photos, videos, or audio recordings.
