### 5/5 — Please make new swipe gesture

*2024-08-19*

Hi, I’m editing this review the asked you if it’s possible when you go to update your game again if you can add a horror episode of some kind that would be great and like I said before it will be also nice to exit the story with some kind of different jester may be a three finger swipe down because you gotta keep closing the app and reopen it just to get out of that story and go back into the main menu but I love your game. Keep up the good work and if it’s possible, add a horror episode. Thank you. If I have to pay a couple of dollars to buy the episode once it’s added, I will because I’m into a lot of audio games and a horror story would be great. I love all six of the games now so thank you again. I have a question for you about the new swipe gesture when the story is over, you can swipe up the get back to the story list but can you make one gesture to where you can swipe down with one finger while you’re inside of an episode the exit to the main menu screen because when you’re in an episode two exit, you have to close the app and reopen it is there anyway you can fix that to where you don’t have to close the app at all? I was playing an episode, but I couldn’t go back to the main screen without closing the app to get out of the episode and could you please make a pause gesture to where you can actually pause the episode that you’re currently in I love all your apps games but what I don’t like really is you have to close the app to exit the episode and then re-open the app to get back into your main menu would you please consider making those new couple gestures in your next update thank you keep up the good work hopefully in the future you guys come out with new episodes like I said, make it to where you can exit the episode that you’re currently in Aaron‘s, Jared, where you can pause the episode that you’re currently in thank you

**Developer response:** Thank-you for the excellent feedback.
We absolutely would love to make a truly scary episode. Maybe in the future.

It is currently possible to exit a story and return to the main menu without exiting the application. While in a story, you can tap on the top left (Gear icon) and then a swipe-up will take you back to the main menu without exiting the application.

Each story has approximately 6 places where the story is saved automatically, but you have to reach that place for it to save.

If you have more detail we would love to hear it.

Thank-you so much for enjoying our game and taking the time to write this review. As a small team we appreciate that you took the time to acknowledge our work.

### 5/5 — Please make new swipe gesture

*2024-04-22*

I have a question for you about the new swipe gesture when the story is over, you can swipe up the get back to the story list but can you make one gesture to where you can swipe down with one finger while you’re inside of an episode the exit to the main menu screen because when you’re in an episode two exit, you have to close the app and reopen it is there anyway you can fix that to where you don’t have to close the app at all? ### 5/5 — Game options needs fixed

*2024-04-05*

Good game but needs fixed on options. When episodes are over. It doesn’t go back to the main menu or during gameplay. You can’t pause the game or exit the game when you’re in an episode of one of the stories then, when I select the story episode that I want, and I tap the bottom left corner of my screen, it goes to buy all I finally got it to actually buy one episode and that’s the cave besides that that is a really great game keep up the good work please fix menu options like a pause gesture that you can make the pasta story, or if you want to quit the story, make a gesture to where you can exit back to the main menu like I said, I played one of the stories all the way through but when it was over, it didn’t do nothing I couldn’t swipe back to the main menu. I couldn’t exit I had to re-close the whole app and reopen it. if this does get fixed i’ll consider buying all episodes for now like I said, I bought one and one night is over I cannot exit back to the main menu to select a different one sorry for some of the misspelled words The controls are not wanting to work very well make a gesture to where you can swipe down with two fingers to exit back to main menu during story play or maybe swipe up with two fingers to pause the story like I said, when you’re in the story, you can’t do nothing unless it’s time to make a gesture you can’t pause or you can exit please fix thank you again keep up the good work. Great job. after the episode was over the game just froze it didn’t do nothing. I had to close the app and then open the app again and then get back into the main menu. Like I said, please fix ASAP.

### 1/5 — Does not let me do anything.

*2023-09-20, version 1.1*

I cannot seem to click on any options because it will not do anything.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2023-05-22*

If I could I’d rate this game 0 stars. Tried absolutely everything and even the tutorial doesn’t work. There’s no way to contact support or anything. Don’t bother getting this game.

**Developer response:** Hi Kpanda! So sorry to hear you had issues with the game! Not sure what problems you’re running into, but we’d love to help! Can you please contact us at meat@redmeatgames.ca?

### 5/5 — Novel, fun, engaging!

*2023-05-11, version 1.09b*

I like to think I have a very active imagination, so when I understood Project Dark was a close-your-eyes and choose-your-own adventure game I was super intrigued to see how it would play out, and boy oh boy did I enjoy it. While it does take you a few mins to get into the story, once you’re in it you can’t stop engaging with the episodes. They’re well written and well acted, and you keep going back to them to find out what other outcomes are there had you _just_ chosen something different. And, since the graphics take place in your mind, I’d say this is the best looking game I’ve played to date! Overall, I loved Project Dark and I think Red Meat games knocked it out of the park with this one. Super recommend the game!

### 2/5 — Gestures are very poor

*2023-05-07*

I have purchased all of the episodes, but for some of them, when I tap the screen to start, it doesn’t work, a complete waste of money, if it doesn’t get fixed

**Developer response:** Hi, sorry to hear you are having issues with the app! This isn't a known bug, we're not sure what issue you are running into. We would love to fix this for you, would you mind giving us more information? If you can send an email to meat@redmeatgames.ca we will get on this!

### 3/5 — Good game yes but

*2023-04-19*

I understand the creators not wanting us to buy the bundle and wanting us to try specific episodes but i feel like there should be at least one free episode that isnt the tutorial. I absolutely loved the experience and loved everything about the whole audio story based game but i just wished at least 1 episode other than the tutorial and i mean a longer episode like at least taking 10 mins to play was available for free the date one was pretty cool but idk i feel like there could be a little more free content available

**Developer response:** Hi Jaiden! Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review. We are so glad you enjoyed the experience! We have taken this feedback and will be extending the trial of 'Date in the dark' as well as adding two more episodes to try. Stay tuned for this update coming soon!

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2023-04-19*

Since I am a completely blind person, I have came across and played a lot of audio games that claim to have engaging stories, fantastic sound design, and extremely impactful choices. Unfortunately, very few audio games live up to those standards. Fortunately, I can confidently say that this game is one such that actually delivers on all of its promised features. The stories are all extremely gripping, the choices you make have massive impact on them, and the sound design is some of the best I’ve heard in any game. Honestly, my only minor complaint is that some of the action and combat sequences, like in the cave of spirits episode for example, are all really simplistic and not very challenging. If you guys decide to make another anthology or season of this, that would honestly be The only part of the game that could use some work. If y’all were to give enemies different combos that could come from multiple directions and require you to Perry the hits in quick succession to give you an opening to counter attack, and maybe add in some attacks that couldn’t be parried and had to be dodged by swiping your finger in the opposite direction that they come from, then I feel like these combat sequences would be a lot more challenging and a lot more engaging. But honestly, you guys really did do a fantastic job on this, and I really hope y’all continue to make more games and episodes like this.

### 1/5 — Pointless

*2023-04-08*

Tutorial didn’t even work, and all episodes are locked until purchased. Don’t bother downloading.

**Developer response:** Hi Ren! Sorry to hear about your disappointment. We are aware of a small bug in the tutorial, an update is releasing shortly to address this! The episodes are available for purchase, we have nothing to hide here this information is in the app description as well! We released the mobile version of Project Dark so players have the ability to select specific episodes they want to play without downloading the whole bundle, as they would on console. We apologize if that wasn't clear, but this is not a free to play game :)
