I would like to give notice to one of the steps of the tomato braised shrimp. The amount of salt ( 1 tbsp 2 tsps) that needs to be put on the shrimp is way too much. ### 4/5 — Needs a bit of work, but its great! The walkthrough of the recipe, with tips and timers really make the whole experience of cooking awesome. I never really enjoyed cooking from recipe as it felt stressful, but having the chef walk you through everything along the way makes learning so much better. Not on wifi, 5G, LTE, ANYWHERE. I’ve tried all day and finally got it to pull up the “create an account” screen ONE TIME but after I filled everything out and hit next, again, never loaded. I never write bad reviews but please fix this because this app seemed so awesome!😢 ### 1/5 — Looks great, crashes every time open a recipe *2019-09-29, version 2.2.4* Looks cool, would love to try it, but it’s crashing EVERY single time I open a recipe. Looking at past reviews, it seems like this has happened several times this year.... so as a busy person, when I come home and want to cook, it wouldn’t be cool if the app I’m about to rely on to cook dinner suddenly doesn’t work (and I would expect this to keep happening into the future). No thanks... delete... next! ### 1/5 — I had so much hope *2019-08-24, version 2.2.4* I was looking for a good cooking app for a date night, and came by what seemed to be this gem of an app. I downloaded the app, found what seemed to be an amazing recipe, spent 30 dollars on ingredients to make it properly, and went for it. Lo and behold when I go to cook, the app immediately crashes every time I try to access the recipe... that would be alright if I hadn’t just bought all the ingredients. I can be good at winging a recipe... but not the best. Especially when trying to impress someone and having purchased the best quality ingredients. There’s no option to filter out recipes based on dietary preferences or allergies, so it’s pretty much unusable for people with food specifications. It’s much easier and more convenient to just look up recipes online, but it’s a cute app for those who have no restrictions on their diet and are looking for easy cooking. ### 2/5 — App is Broken...crashes when you open a video. *2019-08-21, version 2.2.4* I used to love this app but hadn't used it in a while. Fired it up today and it crashes each time I try to launch a video. Is this app still maintained? ### 2/5 — I’ve taken a 2nd look at this app... *2018-06-13, version 2.2.1* I re-downloaded the app. Wanted to see if my first opinion of it was too harsh & if I was mistaken as to the recipes were free or not. While I didn’t spend much time searching around the app it does appear to be free recipes. However, navigation & access to the recipes could be easier. ### 3/5 — Nice concept *2020-05-03, version 2.2.6* I am a stay at home mom of 2 so I really love the app. Being able to afford it and get full use out of it. My only complaint is everything is taking a long time to load and I keep getting error messages. Please fix ### 3/5 — Wonderful app, but no vegan recipes *2018-03-03, version 2.0.7* The app is well made and beautiful but the recipes were mainly meat based, which is funny because we heard about it on a vegan podcast. But it was still a really good app that was exactly as described. ### 4/5 — amount of people *2021-03-03, version 2.2.6* so, this app is pretty helpful, with videos on basics and very detailed recipes. the only thing though , you can choose how many people are eating, but there isn’t an option for one person. i guess you could just divide by 2 on the lowest setting (2) and you’d have the amounts of ingredients. it would be nice to have the app do it, for quicker access. thank you for reading! ### 4/5 — seems good, some improvements needed *2020-08-02, version 2.2.6* recently got the app, loving it so far! a great selection of recipes, a gorgeous layout and design, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE that it’s free, thank you for that!!! i do have a few improvements/requests: PLEASE add more dessert recipes (i love baking desserts and i would definitely be making many desserts you put on there); please make a spot for reviews/ratings, or, if there is one already, please make it more visible; please add in the nutrition information for your recipes, especially if you’re going to say that they’re low-carb/low-fat/high-protein, they should rly have them; finally, please give the option of switching to metric as well, it would be really helpful. i will definitely be continuing to use your app and recommending it, it’s rly great, thanks! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — So many thanks to the team for the amazing app *2020-11-25, version 2.2.6* I love the general layout of the app and the fact that it has videos and it’s free is just mind blowing! I very quickly got a response from the development t team alerting me that the issues I was having have been addressed, and I am now having a very smooth and enjoyable experience with the app! Kudos to the development team, they seem to genuinely care about providing the best possible experience with the app. That being said, if you’re a fan of food or cooking, this is a wonderful tool. The instructions, given step-by-step and in real time, are easy to follow and understand. Definitely worth the download. Rating upgraded to five stars. So I’m really enjoying this app, and the videos are educational and entertaining. But the app keeps crashing and giving me error codes!
