Free form text tends to rearrange whole years worth of pages’ text formatting Willy Nilly, and fixing things over and over is exhausting. ### 4/5 — Need more attention to this app! *2025-10-05, version 3.9.27* I love the app, but don’t get the support I need. I am a subscriber, but that does not work well for me. It would be a solid 5 stars or more if possible if it wasn’t a left behind little sister app. Last new card sets were months ago. 😢 ### 2/5 — You have to pay to add text. *2025-07-06, version 3.9.27* I had to pay to install text. I was given a very limited choice of fonts to use, so I select “more”, and you have to pay even more. Jesus. So I broke down and paid $1.99 for the Carolyn font collection. Go back to work on this project and I can’t find the fonts, I am only shown the original set of fonts that came with paying $4.99 just to have the OPTION to USE fonts. It gives you the option to download your own fonts, but honestly that’s just too much. I feel a bit ripped off about this and wish there was a way to get the $7.00 back I paid for the option to use a very limited number of included fonts. This app was pretty cool a decade ago, but now it’s just a money grab. I created years worth of pages on my android phone and no longer have access to neither MY KITS I paid for, nor the PAGES I worked on for hours and hours. I realize I can export the completed pages, but why not have access to the PURCHASES across platforms? That seems like a simple account access issue..? Anyways, that frustration aside, I LOVE creating these pages. It is so quick and so easy to record beautiful memories for my family. They are also pretty easy to export and share. ### 2/5 — Purchases don’t transfer across devices *2024-09-13, version 3.9.18* I’ve been using this app for many years and I’ve created many pages I’ve printed and made into books. I recently got an iPad specifically to use with the app so it’s easier to see what I’m doing instead of using my phone. I have spent a lot of money buying kits and features over the years for this app and I never buy add ons for other apps. Never. Hardly any of purchases have transferred and are not usable on my iPad. I have been emailing the support for almost a year trying to get it worked out. Last I heard from them was weeks ago. The support is just one person who answers all the emails. I have loved this app but being able to get help is super frustrating. I don’t understand why it almost seems forgotten by the people who created it. Just beware if you use it across devices your purchases may not transfer and be available on all those devices. And if you need to contact support you may not be able to get the help you need. ### 3/5 — Potential to be really great. *2024-07-24, version 3.9.18* I started using this app and buying kits a few months ago because I wanted to shift away from documenting online. And though I’ve enjoyed learning how to navigate it and create in this space, I am finding it incredibly frustrating that certain cards are only for certain spaces within a given layout. I buy a kit that I like sometimes only because of a few cards I want to use; only to find out that they don’t actually work in the places I would like them to. I don’t understand why there has to be a division of title cards, journaling cards, etc., within a layout. They should all be able to be used interchangeably. Needs improvement. ### 5/5 — Easiest way to app scrap! *2024-07-12, version 3.9.18* The free download of the app includes plenty of free layouts, card kits, and fonts to get you started. Of course, there are in app purchases for TONS more layouts and card kits, a few more fonts and a couple of added journaling options as well. The layouts you make with this app are based on the old paper Project Life pocket style scrapbooking. It is intended to be easy and quick but still provide beautifully designed cards to complement your photos. I wanted to leave an updated detailed review because many of the older ones are negative. There was a period of time when the app was on the back burner but they do regular (not monthly) updates again now. I came across the app when I was searching for an easy on the go way to scrapbook a road trip and I have NEVER looked back. There are so many card kits in the app- hundreds! Of course, not all will be your style but there’s so many to choose from. And if you’ve been using the app for the near ten years I have, you might want to try adding cards from other digital scrapbooking stores to your pages (you can download, unzip, and store them in a cloud or your photos app then add them to a page through the photo selection tool). There is no easier way to scrapbook than this. PERIOD. PeRiOd!! I can’t find it anywhere. I’ve been told by support that I haven’t updated the app (incorrect). Also, I HATE that you can’t buy the kits and use them on your Mac book or your IPad. ### 5/5 — Good app for printing *2023-11-06, version 3.8.9* Ive used this app for years. I mainly use it to print my 3x4 and 6x4 photos for my project life layouts. It works well. Never had an issue with it. I wish that Becky would add some sort of weekly tracker to help me keep track of the weeks ive still got to complete. Im about 2 years behind currently 😬 ### 4/5 — Was good in the past. *2023-09-26, version 3.8.7* I have followed Becky since Creating Keepsakes. I love this app. I’ve made a few books, finally. I have manny more to go. But now it seems Becky and team are too busy with IG to care about the rest of us who don’t use IG or who don’t have the $ to “belong” to the special group. I feel pretty left out, and yes, I’d like to see some new kits and ways to organize them. I’m waiting for PL to email to say their done with us. ### 5/5 — Love this app! It’s a lifesaver! *2023-05-18* I don’t know why this app doesn’t have more reviews. I use it all the time to journal and scrapbook and even to covert all my old scrapbooks into digital format. I can quickly duplicate a page and just switch out the photos/names to use the same page for multiple kids. It’s easy to use and I work on projects/pages from literally anywhere and quickly switch from iPhone to iPad. The in-app purchases are worth it since you can use them over and over again. Give this app a try! ### 5/5 — Loved this app until the update *2022-09-25, version 3.7.0* The app was updated a day ago and now it won’t print out my small pic creations or save them. It only wants to save the upper left quarter portion of the pic. I have so many years invested into this app and really wish you’d continue to offer new kits and updates. 😔 ### 2/5 — Ok but very expensive for what it is! *2022-08-22, version 3.6.2* Nice app but it charges you got the full version which is what allows text etc, PLUS a charge for each of the many themes, PLUS a charge for each of the layout packs, PLUS a subscription for auto backup. Honestly selling the whole layout packs, backups, and text for £5 seems reasonable, I get wanting to charge a little for the card packs but it totals to hundreds if you want everything. I just don’t see why the paid app includes so little. Other apps offer the same features for less. She presents herself as God’s gift to the scrapbooking. The updates are few and far between, she looks down her nose at suggested updates/requests that have been asked for by many subscribers for years. There is inconsistency with supporting and updating this app! There are other scrapbook “influencers” who deserve your hard earned money! Keep looking… ### 1/5 — Horrible interface *2023-01-17, version 3.7.8* Could not edit text once it’s in. Template pages were also uneditable so you end up paying for just color backgrounds. I have loved doing my pages this way in the past but I guess I’ll have to look for something new. Pretty sad after all the money I’ve spend on kits. I’d like some word on if this app is going to be working soon or not.☹️ ### 1/5 — Misleading pricing *2022-02-27, version 3.6.2* Worked hard to build a book for the $60 price tag, only to complete it and be charged $100 more. Turns out it’s the base price and a per-page charge on top of that. Misleading pricing practices like these are a quick way to lose loyal costumers. So thankful for it every day! And for it to be free - what a gift! Not just to me, but to my children and grandchildren and even extended family. All the in-app purchases are reasonably priced and totally optional. You don’t have to hand them to use it.
