The music is cool, the character designs are all awesome, I highly recommend. I have adored this game and the Muse Runner one for years now, I've been playing it across multiple devices for a long time, however, I had just downloaded this game again last week and it won't stop crashing now! Half the time its open the sound goes out for no reason, and pressing some of the buttons leads it to freeze! I don’t know if you guys see reviews, but thank you. ### 4/5 — An annoying bug *2025-06-29, version 9.3.0* Love this game and all, the music is fire, the gameplay is fire, lots of modes to choose from so it never gets boring but it’s just one problem for me. Whenever an ad finishes, the whole game freezes and the only way to fix this is to get out of the game and enter it again, and it can get pretty annoying at times. The device I’m currently using is an 9th gen ipad, so I don’t think its how old my ipad is that’s the problem so help? ### 4/5 — The Ads in between the music *2025-05-31, version 9.3.0* So I have been playing p. Only reason I’m rating this app as a 4 star is because I had this game for a little while. Really love the game tbh but recently for some reason it doesn’t want to open. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still the same problem. I wouldn’t really complain but I’ve put money into the game and it’s like a waste of money since I can’t use the damn app now. So if it’s at all possible to look into this problem so others don’t get this problem and get a patch update out. Also really sad because of this problem atm because this is the only rhythm game I’ve come across that’s actually really good. And no ads isn’t too spendy. Anyway if anyone has read this far please don’t let this turn you off but if this happens to you I understand your pain ### 3/5 — i like it a lot but there are some issues i have with it *2024-09-29* ive played this game for a really long time, ive ended up taking breaks from it and coming back to having the same enjoyment, however the last 2 times havent been as enjoyable. before some changes i dislike, i had a lot of fun playing the levels and would find myself listening to the music on the way to places i needed to be. i loved the old challenges you could do and the levels were very fun. however, some changes in the past couple of years have made it less enjoyable. getting rid of the sos button was a bad decision in my opinion, as it makes completing really hard levels even more difficult or impossible to do. as well as this, my biggest issue is changing old levels such as jessica and claire’s destiny echo to be even more difficult. i used to love playing those levels and its really difficult to complete them now. in my opinion, if extremely challenging levels want to be made, create new songs or add a new master mode for those levels, as it gas removed the fun. other than those issues, its a fun game i enjoy coming back to, although i wish it didnt get rid of/change already good features. ### 4/5 — It’s a great game, just some comments *2024-08-26* I’ll be honest this game is underrated as a rhythm game. I love playing this game even though some of the songs are a bit out of my taste. There’s a skill gap between difficulties, but it’s not so hard like other rhythm games that it feels like you can’t complete it. My only complaint is that some of the songs are a bit off occurring to the difficulty. Don’t get me wrong, I love the game and songs, but some of them are off and some just don’t sound so good so it’s hard to feel the rhythm of the beat and play it. Promise I will make one soon 🥺🥺🥺🥺 ### 5/5 — I love the art *2024-05-16, version 8.2.0* I love this game but for some reason I am unable to listen to the game without headphones ### 3/5 — Keeps getting worse 😭 *2024-05-06* It used to be so fun but they keep adding really bad songs (I will NEVER forgive you for replacing Black Rock Shooter with whatever that hot garbage it is now, it’s also been there for a few updates and the song title still says black rock shooter) Also the paywalls getting worse and worse And when the game most recently changed its layout and leveling up stuff, getting the green currency is so much harder!! Having one level bar instead of different levels for each character gives you less “green ”… it’s almost like they WANT you to pay for it now 🙄 Idk if these are just my phone or not, but my calibration keeps changing? Even though the number doesn’t change in the settings, the timing is definitely off and I have to recalibrate which is annoying. Also whenever I have 4 lines, the two towards the edge of my screen sometimes just don’t count my taps. Like I’m very obviously tapping them and they sometimes just pass or miss with messes with my score or I flat out lose the game. Also the m-space needs updating… plz plz plz the ivy song is there but you can’t play it because it’s an m-space song but you can’t access her space Speaking of Ivy, it’s so hard to get any of her songs because the fragments are stupid hard to get just one, and you can only get one a day, and you need five for one song….. absurd Sorry this is a long review…. Just want to warn any newcomers about some of the games flaws, at least the ones I can think of….. we suffer here but we’re also having fun? So great that I bought vip. Now, with the 2024 change, where the entire format of the game and everything else changed, I’ve lost a lot of money that I quite literally poured into the game.I don’t understand why the easy to work with format had to get changed. The old project muse was better than this nonsense. ### 1/5 — Ads ruin it, still not great functionally *2022-09-19* The game has improved a bunch mechanically from when I first played it about a year ago, the notes are actually able to be hit properly now and the timing feels a lot more correct across devices, however, the fact that an ad plays after every single song and the unlock speed is very slow means that you are grinding a lot of songs that you have already played and watching like a 20 second ad after every single one of them. it’s just not worth it. It was very near and dear to my heart just because it felt special. The songs were great and it was easy to play and the character designs were really cute. More recently though as I keep coming back to it it seems like everything has changed, from the backgrounds being your choice to the lives being different to the game having a bunch of paywalls. It feels like the creators are just doing it for the money now. It was honestly really fun before but it’s not now. I don’t think I’ll be playing it anymore anytime soon. I was pleasantly surprised, so I downloaded o. I felt like I had gotten click-bated because once I opened the app, there was already a selection of songs. I tried the game, and it was too easy. There was a safety net to catch the notes I missed, and the songs were shortened. I feel like to improve you would have to make it more difficult and have the adds show the actual songs that are gonna play, because I saw a kpop song, and I love kpop so I downloaded. I am disappointed with this app, ### 1/5 — Isn’t worth it *2020-06-04, version 4.4.1* I have played project muse for years now, and they had never had vip, ads after everything, or a confusing GUI. That has all changed with the newer updates, and the grind isn’t worth it anymore. First off, in the older versions you would have to earn new songs, not buy them. Secondly, there are at least 15x more ads in the newer version than in the older version. Lastly, they changed the GUI so much it doesn’t even look like the same game. The older version was smooth, and this newer version isn’t. This is actually kind of true this isn’t a fake lie. Because if you’re on Kate and you’re playing, don’t walk away there is something scary. She’s actually watching you behind the front camera. And she could be spying on you rumors claim that they saw a man’s reflection in her eyes like the talking Angela eyeball theory, but more terrible warning.
