## What is ProjectPad?

ProjectPad is a simple admin app built for UK tradespeople, sole traders and small trade businesses.

Create invoices and quotes, manage jobs, save clients, scan receipts and get paid — all from your phone. ProjectPad is designed to be fast, practical and easy to use on-site, without the clutter of full accounting software.

Get paid, your way:
• Take card payments in person with Tap to Pay on iPhone — contactless cards, Apple Pay and mobile wallets, no card reader needed (Premium & Pro; iPhone XS or later)
• Send invoices with a secure card payment link so customers can pay online (powered by Stripe)
• Record cash and bank-transfer payments, and track what's paid, unpaid and overdue

Track what it costs you, see what you keep. ProjectPad tells you your profit on an invoice before you send it — so you find out you've underpriced while you can still fix it, not months later.

Faster invoice & quote building

Quick-pick pills (Premium): the Add line item sheet now shows your most-used saved items as one-tap Name · £price chips that fill name, price and unit in a single tap, learning from what you actually use.
Smarter unit chips: unit pickers show your ~5 most-recently-used units first with a "More (n)" overflow, so the ones you use float to the top on their own. You can also remove standard units you never use (and add them back) via the renamed "± Presets" manager.
Labour rate remembered: the sheet opens with your last labour rate and unit already filled in — for a one-rate trader that's zero typing on the most common line.
Accountant export overhaul

The Excel pack is now a proper accountant document: Summary → Invoices → Payments → Costs → Aged Debtors → Jobs tabs, real (sortable) date cells, SUM totals rows, a Paid Date column, and a receipt-backed evidence ratio.
New UK tax-year presets (6 April – 5 April) alongside the calendar quarters.
Fixes & polish

Text size locked: the app now renders at its designed size regardless of the OS "Larger Text" / Bold Text accessibility settings — fixes layouts that were breaking apart ("letters everywhere") for users on large text.
Auto-save is silent: only a brief "Saved" tick, no spinner, and buttons no longer jump around while saving.
Paywall close button is now visible in light mode (was black-on-navy).
QuickBooks CSV date fix: invoice dates were exporting US-style, which silently swapped day/month on UK imports for any day ≤ 12 — now correct.
