### 1/5 — Just stopped…

*2022-11-27, version 2.3.4*

Worked great for a few years, now it’s gone completely haywire

### 1/5 — Can’t connect

*2022-01-17, version 2.3.4*

The app just can’t connect to the Jacuzzi. Jacuzzi puts out WiFi. iphone connects to the WiFi. But app can’t find a Jacuzzi. Why bother making a 1 star app?

### 1/5 — Propriétaire

*2021-01-30, version 2.3.4*

### 1/5 — Very disappointing!!!

*2020-11-03, version 2.3.4*

I pay almost $100 a year for what? Connnected fine at first and now it won’t. Don’t waste your money. So very disappointing. Ridiculous!

### 1/5 — Will Not Work With Mesh Routers

*2020-07-31, version 2.3.4*

The Dealer came out to help us with the install and was great. They spent along time trouble shooting with Jacuzzi Tech support who finally said ......Sorry will not work with Google Mesh Routers! How ridiculous!

### 1/5 — 2 years later

*2020-05-31, version 2.3.4*

Well it’s 2 years after some of these reviews! And app still not working properly!! and I see your still asked to pay for it at end of very pore service from this app...

### 1/5 — Poor and Expensive Apo

*2020-05-09, version 2.3.4*

I support the views of the other reviewers here - inadequate functionality and expensive after first year.
I also need to highlight in my experience huge connection issues - only works on 2.4GHz band width and need to get your iPhone onto this before setting up. Then despite following exactly the same set up process most of the time it doesn’t connect!! On the odd occasion it does it is useful - until the connection goes again!! Have tried to resolve with my dealer and Jacuzzi with no success to date!! Anyone found someone in Jacuzzi who supports this App????
Such a shame when so much of the rest of the Jacuzzi ownership experience is so good.

### 2/5 — Just OK

*2019-10-17, version 2.3.3*

I have used this with a new hot tub for over two years. Tried extending my $60 cloud subscription in the app and would never go finish the process.

I contacted Jacuzzi via in app messaging and email on website. Not a single reply. Finally called in and was told the manager was on another call and I would have to call back. This was after waiting for over 30 minutes.

Nice products but horrible customer service.

### 1/5 — Right Con

*2019-05-03, version 2.3.3*

We bought a very expensive J-375 & got given the ProLink monitor “Free” but little did I know I had to pay £54.99 a year to use it! A complete con to get a subscription so I can change my tub temperature & lights via phone vs at the tub itself - ridiculous - you can keep your “free” monitor Jacuzzi!

### 1/5 — Can’t connect. Paying $65 a year for nothing

*2019-04-02, version 2.3.3*

This app is garage. Can’t currently connect to my hot tub. Huge waste of $65. Couldn’t be more disappointed.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2018-10-30, version 2.3.1*

Already called Jacuzzi support about a month ago. The app has not worked on my IPhone since iPhone version 12.0.1. When you open Jacuzzi app it automatically closes so app is not usable. It’s very upsetting since this is a paid service from Jacuzzi. This needs to be fixed ASAP or refund money to all users.

### 2/5 — Latest Upgrade Problems

*2018-10-24, version 2.3.1*

After the purchase of an expensive hot tub and the assurance of an excellent phone app... I remain disappointed. I am in my second year of owning and using the tub. I had difficulty in setting up the app and then using it’s somewhat limited functionality. Now after the latest upgrade the app closes when trying to adjust filter times. I have reported the problem weeks ago with no response. Nice hot tub... poor phone app.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2018-08-10, version 2.3*

Seems to not work more often than actually work! I log out , log back in , delete the app- re-install the app with minimal success and the yearly 60.00?! I agree- easier to use the panel on the hot tub. Done with it !

### 2/5 — Alerts are wrong, and not editable

*2018-01-09, version 2.3*

One of the features of this app is reminders when it’s time to change the consumables in your spa. However, there is no way to adjust the timing of the alerts, and the presets are not consistent with the Jacuzzi official instructions. For example, the “ProClarity Depth” filter packaging clearly says to change it every four months, but the app is preset to 90 days. In addition, there are no reminders to change the ProClear Mineral Sanitizer, which is also supposed to be changed every four months.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Système pas bon

*2025-03-22, version 2.6.6*

Ont paie très cher en US pour un système qui ne fonctionne pas bien et le wifi pas mieux tres difficilement connectable jacuzzi très bon spa mais système de connections 0/10

### 1/5 — Extremely Unhappy J375 Owner

*2024-05-21, version 2.6.6*

The app worked great via WiFi only until 2x years ago. Then it no longer worked using WiFi only with iPhone. Last year a rep responded to my complaint, and comp’d me 1x yr of cloud subscription because of known issues. This year, the App still doesn’t work via WiFi only, and the rep has not responded to my emails. So I’m back to no communication w/the hot tub via WiFi, and I refuse to pay for the subscription because the only time I use the app is when I’m home. I think it’s total non-sense that the app supports paid subscriptions, but doesn’t support the free WiFi, which was a huge selling point for buying the Jacuzzi. Huge Foul on Jacuzzi for not holding up their end!

### 1/5 — Total junk - completely dysfunctional app

*2024-05-02, version 2.6.6*

Great app if you get it with your brand new spa - back in 2015. Fast-forward almost 10 years later and it’s now a piece of junk. Cannot connect to the spa in wifi-on’y mode, it always times out - and of course it insists for you to purchase a cloud connection instead. Simply ignore the app for now - it’s a piece of garbage.

### 1/5 — Poor connection & not worth the money

*2023-04-26, version 2.4.1*

There is no reason this should be a paid for subscription. The functionality is incredibly basic and the attempt to make money from such a basic app cheapens the Jacuzzi brand. I’ve had many connection issues despite having a Unifi WAP less than 2 meters away. My suggestion is Jacuzzi should make this outdated and basic app free and focus on provide a better customer experience rather than overcharging for features that other suppliers wouldn’t be brazen enough to charge for.

### 1/5 — Does Not Work

*2023-04-01, version 2.4.1*

The app no longer connects to my hot tub since the last update 4 months ago. In February I contacted Jacuzzi and they said they were completely rewriting the app and expected it to be released in March. It’s now April and I’m still waiting.

### 1/5 — Not working on latest ios

*2023-03-11, version 2.4.1*

The app always worked, but is now not compatible with the latest IOS.
Jacuzzi is aware of the issue, but no solution.

You can go back to ios 15 and it works.

### 1/5 — Jacuzzi killed this off

*2023-01-26, version 2.4.1*

They are just not making it public.

### 1/5 — Please fix the app!!

*2023-01-19, version 2.4.1*

Please fix the app!!

### 1/5 — Broke it for good

*2022-12-08, version 2.4.1*

I used to work intermittently. I think someone at Jacuzzi kept having a reset the authentication. With this last update, it now works full screen on the newer generation iPhones, but the app no longer connects at all. You also are not able to set up any new Wi-Fi connections as I tried to reset mine and now even connecting to the Wi-Fi on the hot tub itself doesn’t work. I wish they would open source this product and let the community fix the problems.

### 1/5 — Good hot tub, garbage app

*2022-12-04, version 2.4.1*

Getting the app working has always been intermittent at best, especially after introductory subscription expired. It’s not close to worth the annual fee to renew. Doesn’t work at all since update to v 2.4.1. Emails to support yielded no help. From what I’ve googled, they already abandoned Prolink for their next generation of unsatisfactory app control, whose screenshots appear to offer the same unsatisfactory features with a slightly different skin. Since it was an important selling point to me, I regret choosing a J500. I could have gotten better bang for the buck with something else.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great!

*2017-10-23, version 2.3*

I was worried based on other reviews...so far it works seamlessly. It's an awesome feature! I believe there is room for improvement by including an efficiency report or tub use history.

Update:17/10/23. Still works great! Not disappointed at all.

### 4/5 — easier to use than the spa front panel

*2017-12-17, version 2.3*

I like this app, for what it does. In my case, the wifi module installed without problems. Connecting the first time was a bit confusing since the documentation I had didn't seem to match the firmware in the tub controller. But after that, it works fine. It’s much easier to set things using the app than the spa front panel.

I wish it would let you program a few things like setbacks and such, but jacuzzi doesn't allow this for some reason. If you don't want to pay for the cloud subscription, you can talk directly to the tub by connecting to its wifi access point, instead of including it in your wifi network. Not very convenient, but it is an alternative.

### 4/5 — New software seems to now be working

*2015-11-18, version 1.1*

UPDATED: Purchasing my Jacuzzi spa was a very expensive, $15,000 acquisition 3 months ago. My reason for purchasing the more expensive jacuzzi brand was because of the remote iPhone operation. This app and iphone connection has been challenging, but after 2 service visits, and the software upgrade, Jacuzzi finally got me connected. I'm very happy with the spa itself, and so far the app seems to be working as originally promised. Hopefully, they can continue to work on making it easier for new customers to get connected.

### 3/5 — Works well enough.

*2020-01-12, version 2.3.4*

Works well enough to turn on pumps, lights, change heat temp setting, etc. also allows more simple change of setting. Improvement possible by improving reliability of connection and adding a spot that shows if the jacuzzi’s heater is currently on.

### 3/5 — Version 1.00 works great with J-385

*2019-04-02, version 2.3.3*

Once in a while the actual server goes offline for a few days.
Irritating... especially in winter

### 3/5 — Useful App but two issue: drop the annual £50 charge AND need to add IFTT

*2018-04-21, version 2.3*

This is useful for both control and notification of any problems. However, they really can’t justify charging £50+ per annum for use of the app - given that you have paid so much for the tub: please drop the annual charge.

They really need to add IFTT functionality (not available at the moment) as that would open up much more functionality to the control.

### 3/5 — App is ok

*2017-10-30, version 2.3*

Pros: Super convenient and fun to be able to control lights, jets and temp from wherever I want (when it's working).
Cons: No Apple Watch version. Disconnects every couple weeks meaning I have to go through the painful process of reconnecting (waste of 5-10 minutes of frustration).

### 2/5 — Update breaks functionality

*2023-01-03, version 2.4.1*

The app has always been flaky, with difficulty communicating with the module, so I updated when I saw bug fixes that came out and now it doesn’t work at all. Is this their way of phasing out local wifi control and make you pay for cloud subscription ??

### 2/5 — No notifications and can't set dealer

*2021-12-22, version 2.3.4*

The alerts/notifications are never sent to my phone or email (used to show up in email, but stopped). Kinda useless if the only way to gknow if something is wrong with your hot tub is to require you to open the app every day (or mult times a day if weather is cold out - to prevent damage):

Also, it has me "preferred dealer" set to "Big Star Backyards" in Texas and won't allow changing it.

### 2/5 — Not what I had hoped for?

*2019-10-20, version 2.3.4*

After dozens of attempts on my mobiles I finally got the app to install on my iPad. From there I added the tub, created an account and installed it that way onto our mobiles. Probably the only function that I was looking forward to was the switching on and off of the exterior cabinet lights and guess what..........it doesn’t do it? Surely the ability to mimic the touch screen panel in the tub and all it’s functionalities wouldn’t be impossible in this day and age of technology? Unfortunately won’t be paying for the app once my first years free subscription runs out? It’s just not good enough?
