Fix and it goes back to 5 stars *2026-08-12, version 1.11.11* Writing a review because it doesn’t seem there’s a way to get direct support. I love everything about this app. However, after a recent iOS update, the audio bar at the top that lets you know your audio source is working has stopped working. The only way to know that it’s picking up your audio is to stop the video and do a test. But for weeks the audio level meter has been broken. I lost video because of it thinking I had an audio problem. As others have stated, the audio is recording but you have no idea if it’s too quiet or too loud. It’s been years and a couple of phones since I used it so I was excited to restore my purchase and try it out on this newer iPhone. I’m so disappointed! Not only does this app not live up to my memory of it, it’s now somehow worse than the native iPhone camera! Exposure lock is just not working anymore. I’d rather my exposure be blown out like with a real camera than have a sudden adjustment be made out of nowhere when a bright light comes into frame! That’s almost entirely what made me buy this in the first place years ago. The focus feature has a scale but this does not change your video’s depth of field. Instead, it adjusts *what* is in focus (even if you have already locked a subject in focus!) What’s the point of locking if the app doesn’t respect the lock? Even stranger, after saving your video, it has a lower, more pixelated quality with LOTS of banding in dark conditions. This does not happen in the native camera app so I don’t know why it would ever happen with a paid one. I’ll play with the settings and update this if anything changes but I don’t think this is a settings problem. All I know is that next time I have something important to film, I won’t be reaching to open this app, and that’s sad because I really loved it years ago. It was simple and reliable. What happened?
