## What is PromptFast?

PromptFast is a private prompt library for people who reuse AI workflows every day.

Save your best prompts once, organize them with tags and smart folders, turn them into reusable templates, and use them across Mac, iPhone, and iPad without rewriting the same instructions again and again.

With PromptFast you can:

Open your prompt library instantly from the Mac menu bar
Use a global hotkey to search, preview, and copy prompts from any app
Create reusable templates with typed variables
Organize prompts with categories, tags, favorites, and smart folders
Keep a version history of edits and restore previous versions
Use prompt chains to compose modular prompts
Paste prompts from iPhone and iPad with the PromptFast keyboard
Import prompts from Markdown, CSV, JSON, spreadsheet files, and AI assistant exports
Export your library with PromptFast's portable .promptfast format
Optionally run prompts with your own API keys for supported providers
Start fast with 30 ready-to-use starter prompts, available in English and Spanish
PRIVATE BY DESIGN

PromptFast does not require an account and does not operate servers for your prompt library. Your prompts stay on your devices and, when enabled, sync through iCloud. API keys are stored in the device Keychain and prompt runs go directly from your device to the provider you choose.

Built for professionals who want their prompt workflows to be fast, reusable, organized, and under their control.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-06-13

NEW
• Redesigned starter library: 30 shorter, more practical prompts in English and Spanish (summaries, rewriting, code review, decisions, quizzes, and more).
• Cancel button when running prompts with your own API key, plus a network timeout so a slow provider never leaves the app hanging.
IMPROVED

• Import errors are reported clearly instead of failing silently.
• Short #RGB colors are now accepted when importing categories.
• Deleted prompts disappear from the iOS keyboard immediately.
• Stability fixes and UI polish across Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
