## What is PromptRemote?

PromptRemote is made to control PrompterPal running on an iPad.  PromptRemote provides control of speed, scroll position, shuttle wheel, play/ pause, fast-forward and rewind control, start over and timer controls, markers, file loading and provides timer feedback.

PromptRemote can control PrompterPal over wifi or bluetooth.  No configuration necessary, just select the device you want to control from a list of surrounding devices running PrompterPal.

The remote is updated periodically and when necessary to keep it in sync with the PrompterPal it is controlling.

The Settings allow for the controls to be enabled or disabled and sound effects for aural feedback.

Note:  PromptRemote does not work as a remote for any app or iPhone feature except for PrompterPal.

The original iPhone and first generation iPod touch are compatible over wifi only, blue tooth connectivity is not supported by these devices.

Honestly I do like the app. There is a potential but despite buying it I never get support. 
I wonder and asked the team if there is a way to add the markers into the document while editing in word (maybe special character or such) but this time too I get no reply. 
So sad

I really loved this app in combination with prompter pal, however it is now very unstable with a IPad 2 - and IPhone 4s combination. It crashes when syncing files and screen display appears in different formatting. Please fix this an you will 5 stars again. Thank you.

I think this app has a lot of potential and some nice features, but wow does it have a lot of bugs. It’s impossible to use without at least a couple of hiccups. I really hope the developers continue to update this app as it could be a very good application, especially for the price.

The iPad app has all of the features and intuitive functionality that I've been looking for in a prompter app.  The one thing - only one thing - that I would change is to add bluetooth remote connectivity.

Funktioniert mit PrompterPal (PP). Das Verbinden mit dem iPad und PP einwandfrei. 
Punktabzug gibt es da:
- Sroll-Geschwindigkeit ist abhängig von der Voreinstellung in PP
- beim wechseln von Start/Pause springt die Anzeige
