## What is Proof Cabinet?

Proof Cabinet is a private whiskey, bourbon, and spirits collection and tasting journal - no account required, no ads.
Track every bottle in your cabinet: sealed or open, fill level, bunker count, and where it is shelved.
Add a tasting note for any bottle - rate it, capture the nose, palate, and finish, and tag the flavors you found.
Keep a hunt list for allocated and hard-to-find bottles, and mark them off when you find them.
Free means free: unlimited bottles in your cabinet, no artificial caps, no forced sign-in.

WHAT'S IN YOUR CABINET
- Add a bottle: name, distillery, category (Bourbon, Rye, Scotch, Irish, Japanese, American Single Malt, Tequila/Mezcal, Rum, and more), proof, age statement, size, purchase price and date.
- Track status (sealed, open, finished), fill level, and bunker count (sealed backups of the same bottle).
- One photo per bottle, free.

SCAN A LABEL
Point your camera at a bottle's label and Proof Cabinet reads the name, distillery, category, proof, age, and size for you - review it and save, or fix anything by hand. Free: 3 scans. Pro: up to 30 a day.

COLLECTION VALUE
Add what a bottle is worth today, right next to what you paid for it. Pro sees your total collection worth, gain or loss against what you paid, your most valuable bottles, and worth by category.

TASTING JOURNAL
- Rate every tasting from 1 to 10 in half-point steps.
- Capture nose, palate, and finish in your own words.
- Tag the flavors you notice: vanilla, caramel, oak, spice, fruit, smoke, peat, honey, chocolate, floral, nutty, leather.

HUNT LIST
- Keep a wishlist of bottles you are chasing, with target price and where you saw them.
- Mark a hunt as "Got it" to add it straight to your cabinet.

CABINET STATS
- See your bottle count, open vs. sealed vs. finished, bunker count, and total collection cost.

- Full stats: breakdowns by category and distillery, rating trends, collection cost by year
