The first-use flow is smoother: recording now starts immediately after onboarding, microphone permission can be recovered easily from Settings, and email backup setup is offered after your first recording. Recordings over 18MB are split across multiple emails and sent in order. We also improved English and Japanese transcription, widget and Control Center reliability, Live Activities, and accessibility.

### 1.1.6 — 2026-06-18

Fixed an issue where a long recording stopped from the Lock Screen would not finish emailing in the background until you reopened the app. The send now completes in the background without reopening the app, and recordings that failed to send are retried automatically.

Fixed the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island timer showing a longer time than what was actually recorded. Reduced causes of unexpected recording interruptions and improved reliability.
