## What is ProofBinder?

ProofBinder is a local-first evidence scanner for everyday incidents. Scan photos or documents, add the key details, and create a shareable PDF evidence packet on your device.

Use it for practical situations where details and images need to stay together:

- Return and refund records
- Delivery or package damage
- Rental car condition
- Moving damage
- Used goods handoffs
- Repair intake and pickup
- Service or work completion
- Account, subscription, and digital issue records

How it works:

1. Scan evidence or add existing photos.
2. Review the captured pages.
3. Choose a case type.
4. Add incident details, notes, and checklist items.
5. Preview the packet.
6. Create a local PDF.
7. Save or share the PDF when you choose.

ProofBinder is not a cloud scanner. It does not require an account, a cloud vault, or a server login. Evidence packets are created on your device, and you decide when to save or share the PDF.

Each packet can include scanned pages, photos, notes, checklist items, an evidence index, and SHA-256 values for later comparison with the saved packet record.

ProofBinder is a personal record organization tool. It is not legal advice, notarization, forensic certification, a legal certificate, a tax invoice, an official document, or a guarantee that another person, company, agency, or court will accept a record.
