## What is ProofPal?

Have you ever been about to send an email, or a Slack message, or post a tweet or a status update - and haven't been quite sure if what you're trying to say sounds right?

If you're a language learner or someone who frequently uses a language you're not a native speaker of, this might be a situation you're familiar with. You could ask a friend or a colleague - but what if they're not online at the moment you need them? What if you have dozens if things you'd like them to check?

Enter ProofPal. It's like having a native speaker of the language you're using who lives in your pocket, who you can call on whenever you need them to just a have a quick check of what you've written. Post a review request to ProofPal and native speakers will take a look - and either give it the all clear, or write a correction that only you can see.

And you're not alone - you're an expert in your own native language, so there are millions of people around the world who you can help in the same way.
