Also, first level is too hard after doing its easy tutorial. Suggestions: * Apple's Game Center connection! * Give us more than three primary goals options. I want most/all! We will forget, probably ignore reminders and then you take payment we fight to get it back and thus then cannot eat for a day or 2. It’s literally such a frustrating system and when we try to get money back apple will just tell us no, give an excuse this has happened to me more times than I can count. If this was made for ADHD you would know this would be an issue or barrier for most. Financially, memory etc … just really frustrating ### 1/5 — Tricked into paying for a year *2025-12-09, version v1.12.1* I planned to trial this for the 7 days free with no payment however the way the app is set up it works it so if you’re not careful you end up not getting the trial and end up paying for a year upfront. I didn’t want to subscribe yet. Uninstalled ### 1/5 — Pay before try? No thanks *2025-11-24* Wastes time collecting your info just to announce you have to pay to even see what it’s all about. Predatory “free week if you cancel on time” rather than just “we’ll Ask you in a week if you want to pay”. Dirty marketing tactics a big turn off for me or any app that asks you to “trust them”. **Developer response:** Hi! Thank you for sharing your feedback! Just to clarify: the 7-day trial is completely free. You can cancel immediately after starting the trial and will still keep full access for the entire week without being charged. We also send a reminder one day before the trial ends, as long as notification permissions were granted. Regarding transparency, all of our games are grounded in scientific research, which we openly share on our website (https://www.propeladhd.com). We want every user to feel confident about how Propel works and why it works. Ist schade da die App sehr gut läuft. ### 1/5 — Another predatory ADHD app *2025-11-01* I downloaded this app and went through all the questions and got to the point where it offered a free trial, just to get immediately charged for an annual subscription (which I thought would be charged 7 days after). I don’t even care how helpful this app MAY potentially be, I want my money back and I will NEVER use this app!! **Developer response:** We're sorry for the misunderstanding. Only our main yearly plan includes the 7-day free trial, so it seems a different plan was selected. All payments are processed by Apple, but if you contact us at support@neuronwizard.com, we'll help you requesting a refund directly to Apple. I was using it for a month straight and was enjoying it thoroughly. Was ready to start recommending it to my peers but unfortunately any concerns I have seems to fall on deaf ears. I sent a message 2 different times addressing 2 separate issues right on there “contact us” page on the app. Not only did i get no response both times, but it also wasn’t in my sent history from my email for proof, so it’s as if it never happened. It would be really nice if someone would just respond, but I am sure they will read this response and still ignore my concerns completely. Won’t even bother getting into what the issues were that I was trying to address because what’s the point? Easy potential 5 stars plummeted to a 1 star simply because they don’t want to put any effort into addressing a supporter/user’s concern **Developer response:** Hi, I'm Cátia. The five requests were: 1) I agree to the proceeding of my personal health information to enable core features 2) privacy statement ans terms of service 3) I allow Propel to collect anonymous usage data to help improve the app and experience 4) I agree that Properly may use my personal data (except health data) to send product or service offers over email 5) I agree that AppsFlyer and its integrated partners may use information like my email and technical identifiers (within privacy policy) to help Propel show relevant advertising and reach people like me Edit after Developer response on 7/9/2026: "Individual options" was not my experience. App store reviews do not allow screenshots, but I have them of the agreements screen. Can only play for like 5 minutes then to do ANYTHING else it costs money. Why can’t this be free? ### 1/5 — 7 Day Free Trial Scam *2026-01-23* I wasn’t sure about this app and saw another highlighted bad review about wanting money. As stated by the developers themself there is a 7 day free trial before any subscription purchase is made. This is a blatant lie. I started the free trial and 12 hours later was charged $40 for the yearly access. 12 HOURS!! If you do try this app and don’t like it after a few minutes/hours delete it and it’s subscription in your settings immediately!! **Developer response:** Hi, João here! I'm sorry for the confusion. To clarify, we offer different plans to give users more choice. While our main yearly option includes a 7-day free trial, some other plans begin immediately. I’ve learned my lessons with free trials. They’ll charge you and it’s hard to get the money refunded. Luckily I was given a refund when I reported this. From previous reviews, I see that this has been an ongoing problem for months which has not been resolved. They ask you all kinds of personal information before you even get to try it as well as get your money. the free games? it told me I could pay up front and cancel at anytime. It’s a scam in making you believe you can play for free and it will help you. the only thing i see helping is lining the pockets of the people who own this site. Don’t fall for it like i did. As for the games. who knows it they help, i wasn’t willing to pay up front in order to find out. if they lied to me just to hook and reel me in. who knows what else they are lying to me about. I think it’s good. Even though it’s a scam in a way. Lower prices would be greatly beneficial in the future. Yes you have to pay for it beyond the 7 day free trial, but it’s worth some money. Pro tip: deny all of the payment plans, including the free trial (there IS a free version) until it offers the premium version for $35.99/year forever! That’s about $3/month — more than reasonable. As for the games, they’re simple enough to start and then progressively get more challenging as you prove you can handle it. I like how they are not overly complicated. It keeps me coming back. I’m happy to have something leisurely to do on my phone that doesn’t involve wrecking my dopamine system (i.e. scrolling social media). And better yet, it’s helping my ADHD brain.
