Right now, no matter what I try it not connect. My propresenter version is 19.01 thats why Im trying with the remote classic version ### 2/5 — Unreliable *2025-09-03, version 4.10* When it works, it is super helpful. The problem is, it doesn’t connect easily and disconnects easily. For a company that has such a big following, this app should be far superior than it is. ### 2/5 — App No Longer Functions Properly *2025-09-02, version 4.10* This app worked for me for years but once they made the update to it, it no longer works. They took away being able to see slides and notes at the same time. Perhaps most critical to my use is the notes function under the REMOTE tab. I used to be able to see the slide with the notes under it. I used it to advance slides during my sermons and had notes to go along with them. Now, the notes are there but you can’t see the slide. Or, if you go in the PRESENTER tab you can see the slides but not the notes. I’m checking all the time for this “new” version that’s supposed to be coming. ### 2/5 — Stop working opening a bigger PowerPoint presentation *2025-08-16, version 4.10* The app performed exceptionally well until the recent update to version 20, which also introduced a rebranding to ProPresenter remote Classic. Since the update, the app has consistently crashed, and this issue has persisted for over three weeks. We reported the problem promptly, providing both photo and video evidence to support our case. Unfortunately, no effective resolution has been provided to date. ### 2/5 — Last update August 2025 *2025-08-10, version 4.10* The most recent update has made this app unusable for us. It will connect to the content library but not to the presentations. Useless now. The programmer messed up what was a good thing ### 3/5 — Worked flawlessly until the latest update *2025-08-06, version 4.10* We have used ProRemote for years (started with ProPresenter v6). Have never had issues with it until this past Sunday. In the middle of the service, suddenly it quit working. The screen alternated between showing the library list and the reconnecting screen (with logo). Mac computer and iphone are up to date with all software. ProPresenter is updated to v20. Have not completed troubleshooting but immediately did the most obvious steps (computer and iPhone on same network etc). However nothing is changed in our setup EXCEPT ProPresenter and ProRemote updates. ### 1/5 — Update Broke App *2025-08-03, version 4.10* App no longer connects correctly. The only thing that I think is missing is the Macro tabs.. We run a lot of our settings and features through macros and it would be nice if we had access to those.. This was at my sisters wedding and it went very smooth. I didn’t have high hopes since there were some bad reviews, but this worked better than expected and had no issues at all. I used it to cue up different videos and didnt have to sit at the computer the whole time. I was able to easily switch between slides and also clear the screen. Since I haven’t had experience with previous versions, I can’t compare other users experiences. But it does seem like they have been putting in more development to this app recently. Keep up the good work! I’m excited to see future enhancements and features! ### 5/5 — Works like a charm when the internet is strong *2020-02-13, version 4.9.2* I use this app all the time to control slides as at times I will be running a camera to record and sitting there with my iPad clicking next on the remote. It’s great and you can see all the slides and do whatever in pro presenter remote. I use it to cue vids and songs as well. Just make sure you do the back work so hitting next and your cues are set up so there are no issues. The only time I’ve had issues is when the internet is strong for example on retreats but we have still managed to make it work with shotty Hotspots!
