Either it doesn’t change anything or sends a long line of text. my guess it’s code that’s not properly being interpreted. Even the page is glitchy, navigation is glitchy on bottom half of page. Inputting anything the page then resets itself to below where the page should statically be. I really need this feature for child codes to work well and for volunteers serving to easily input into the messaging field I made. Please help. ### 2/5 — Not production-ready *2026-02-01, version 25.1* Very unreliable. Manages to somehow be MORE flaky than the previous app. Current version doesn’t even start, it crashes every single time. Frankly I don’t know how this app even passes App Store standards. Select an option like “Follow current presentation” and it won’t … then go back and the option is unchecked again. I’ve got better things to do that to keep checking again and again if the settings I chose are still selected. ### 1/5 — Typical ProPresenter… *2026-02-01* Just like with ProPresenter updates, this was rolled out completely unfinished and untested. It only connects when it wants to. Many times, it will see the device, let me enter the password, and then nothing. Now, the app crashes upon opening no matter what device I use it on, so it is fully unusable. Bring back the old app until this one is even mildly functional. Right now, it has added 0 features and taken away my biggest one! With an app as necessary as this one, I cannot believe how slowly fixes roll out. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-01-25, version 25.1* This new app doesn’t follow a complete playlist it does 1 presentation and then stops there. please fix this. ### 1/5 — Accessibility Issue *2026-01-25* The app breaks if you have a different system font size set. You cannot scroll to the top of some menus to make changes when you are live. Also it follows the slides, even when you’re off that setting so you can’t jump to where you need to take control. ### 1/5 — Terrible Connections *2026-01-15, version 25.1* This remote app used to work, but getting it to connect has become rare and unpredictable. Had to sign in with codes each time I opened the program. Also the size of the slides is smaller than previous remote, especially the next slide. It was small enough that that I could not read it. After that it won’t show any presentations or if I log out and log back in, it won’t even log in. Nothing with the ip address, port or password. I really would love to use this app. ### 1/5 — 2026 worse than 2012 *2026-04-13* Used this app (its predecessor) to remote control in real time with no lag or hiccups! Totally great experience. Even walked to another room further away on campus (same WAN). Flawless. That was over ten years ago, though. Now? If I could figure out a way to go between keynote files I’d not bother with pro presenter at all. The only change I see is a slightly more integrated gui but on basic stuff like remote control via iOS all they had to do was not change anything. Now it just has the never ending looking for connection and doesn’t connect! ### 1/5 — Not Working *2026-02-28* When this was released it was great! Loved the new features and option. But for the last three weekends the app force quits when you open it and when you select a presentation it goes to a blank screen. You cannot select anything. It crashes every 15-20 seconds. I’ve tried everything. Delete, install, new router, different computer, update PP7 on the computer, roll back to an older version. I mean. Everything. Help. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2026-02-22* I used to be able to use the remote tab in the remote app that would have the slide that is up and on the side it would have notes that I could use for my sermon. Perhaps it’s with the newer updates, but now that part does not track… And now, this week, it won’t even load the slides. The network is connected, and it shows the playlists on the side and it will even show the category or items but when those are clicked, nothing ever appears on the iPad. Finally revised, this app allows control of ProPresenter functions using an iPhone or iPad. I use it for basic control of the current playlist and active slides.
