## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.6.4 — 2026-10-17

Listen now starts playing straight away, and audiobooks download in the background. Story owners can review a contribution section by section. Where to buy shows each format with its stores. Plus fixes and polish.

### 1.6.3 — 2026-10-09

Fixes Google sign-in, which failed in 1.6.2. The story reader shows formatted text, and notifications open the right contribution or analysis.

### 1.6.2 — 2026-10-09

What's new in 1.6.2:
- AI Analysis: see the price, start an analysis and read or download the report
- Add and manage contributors on your stories
- Rooms: tappable links and @mentions, an @ member picker, Copy text and Copy link, and series and bundle rooms
- Notifications open the right thread, reply or story
- Search: scrolling the results closes the keyboard
- Audiobooks: stale sections and price updates shown; more reliable playback controls

### 1.6.1 — 2026-10-02

Push notifications: choose which kinds you get in Settings. Shared with me: see stories and series others have shared with you. Fixes for staying signed in on a flaky connection and for dark mode.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-10-01

New in 1.6:
• Create a story: pick a genre, tone and length (or tap Surprise me), approve the outline, and Story Forge writes it.
• Create an audiobook from any of your stories, with the price shown first.
• Start a conversation with friends from Rooms.
• People you may know on Friends.
• Choose System, Light or Dark in Profile, plus dark mode fixes throughout.
• A cleaner Search.
• Polish across rooms, sign-in and the story page.
