## What is ProsoEcho?

You've saved hundreds of quotes. Can you say one - out loud, from memory, right now?

Most apps help you collect wisdom. ProsoEcho helps you keep it. Not in a folder you never open - in your memory, and in your own voice, ready the moment you need it.

This is the practice the Stoics and the early Buddhists actually used. They didn't archive wisdom; they committed it to memory and spoke it aloud, so it was there under pressure - "ready to hand." ProsoEcho brings that practice to your phone, without the romance and without the bloat.

HOW IT WORKS
- Capture - type, paste, or import a line, or send one straight in from any app with the share sheet. A sentence from a book, an article, a podcast, your own writing.
- Organise - categories, groups, tags, and search. Build your own collection of what's worth keeping.
- Hear it - the line is read aloud in a clear voice, each word lighting up as it's spoken. Use a built-in voice, or your own Apple Personal Voice.
- Say it - record yourself saying the line, or shadow the voice as it speaks. Saying it out loud is what fixes it; reading silently doesn't.
- Compare - play your take back against the reference, side by side, until the line is yours.

START WITH A LIBRARY, OR BRING YOUR OWN
ProsoEcho comes with a small curated library of public-domain lines - Aesop, Shakespeare, Lincoln, La Rochefoucauld, the Stoics, classic proverbs - so you can start the moment you open it. Or fill it with the lines that matter to you.

WHY ALOUD
Saying words out loud encodes them measurably better than reading them in your head - researchers call it the production effect. Retrieving a line from memory beats re-reading it. Short, spaced sessions beat cramming. That's the whole method. No tricks, no streaks, no quizzes.
