By far best bank and customer service you will ever find. Anytime I have a problem they are there to help me and never make me feel crazy because I don’t understand. Best bank I’ve ever had to stop scammers from getting my money. Gin Barrel City branch is the best.10 out of 10 in my book. I can’t thank them enough.

I have used many different banks over the years and the employees at Prosperity are very attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. It’s much like a small town bank in terms of customer service even though it is a large bank.

I got a new phone and number. I went to update my personal information, including my new number, y’all needed to verify that I am who I say I am. To do that, you sent a code to my old phone. That phone is no longer active. By the grace of God, the text came through, but that’s not a good way to verify if people get a new number.

I’ve been with Prosperity Bank for a long time. For many years, it was fine. However, in the last year or so, it has really gone downhill. I used to be able to call and speak with someone within 3 minutes. Now, whenever I call, I’ve waited up to 20 minutes and still haven’t been able to speak with anyone. On top of that, the chat option is often unhelpful and frustrating. Their system goes down randomly. They plan outages for multiple days at a time. I tried to get a new debit card and it took them mailing me 3 different cards to finally get one activated due to internal errors on their part. Then, when I try to use it to get cash from at ATM, it doesn’t work. I’ve had enough and am in the process of switching banks.

Everytime i try to login it gives an error to call a number to unlock. Nobody got time for that. Considering moving banking to another that has easier online banking services

This is by far the worse bank I have ever done business with. If I could give 0 stars I would. Unfortunately it requires me to leave at least a 1 star, which this bank isn’t worthy of even that. To plan a outage during a extended holiday is really horrible. My husband and I had plans this weekend seeing how it’s valintines day and all. So we drive all the way from Conroe Tx to Lake Charles. Just to get there and not be able to use our online banking to move money. That is BS. Not to mention they plan to be down all the way to February 16th! That’s 4 days of not having access to OUR money unless we go to the bank which are not available in all states! As soon as Tuesday rolls around we are switching banks to a bank that isn’t GARBAGE!

I’ve had prosperity for so many years now. Instead of getting better it gets worse. This app needs an update or a complete overhaul. The security is insane. I mistyped my password & my account gets suspended because of too many failed attempts? So now I have to wait until 7am to talk to a representative & wait 10+ minutes for them to answer my call. Getting sick and tired of this bank & app. Considering closing my account entirely.

I have had a banking account with property bank for over 5 years. They sent me a snail mail that I was 0.56 cents in the negative in my savings account. This bank is so dang petty. Last Straw! Terrible customer service and experience! Will NEVER RECOMMEND!

Some people think of a bank rejecting a debit card charge as an inconvenience. Prosperity Bank will immediately allow it when they ask the customer if they made the charge. It’s an extra layer of security.
