## What is Prostatakrebs SH App?

Informieren. Helfen. Einfluss nehmen. Der Bundesverband Prostatakrebs Selbsthilfe e. V. wurde am 15. September 2000 als Zusammenschluss von damals 18 Selbsthilfegruppen von Prostatakrebs-Betroffenen in Deutschland gegründet. Aus diesen 18 sind mittlerweile über 230 Selbsthilfegruppen geworden. Der BPS ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein zur Unterstützung von Männern, die an Prostatakrebs erkrankt sind, und deren Angehörigen. Der BPS nimmt dafür Einfluss auf das Gesundheitswesen und wirkt aktiv in ihm mit. Die BPS Prostatakrebs App hilft, die Kommunikation mit den Betroffenen zu vereinfachen, gibt Zugang zu Informationen und dient damit den Betroffenen.
