### 2/5 — Meh

*2012-12-11, version 2.0*

Somewhat confusing to use at first. Has many foods to choose from however does not include options for protein shakes and other supplements.

### 2/5 — Ok

*2012-09-25, version 2.0*

Needs a bar code ASAP

### 2/5 — Okay....but

*2012-07-30, version 1.2*

I like the concept of tracking my protein intake however, This app needs some work, for example easier maneuverability, also I want to change the caloric intake, why 2000 calories, I want a 1200 calorie, I need to change that and the app doesn't let me, a few tweaks and this app could be great

### 2/5 — Okay, but needs a lot of work

*2012-03-02, version 1.0*

Simple and straightforward, this app seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. But the limited food database and inability to change the units of measure when imputing food items were deal breakers. I'll check back for updates, because I like the layout and simplicity quite a bit, but I don't want to do the math on my food inputs myself or I wouldn't have been app shopping. A much more comprehensive database of foods and flexibility in the units of measure would get this more stars. As is? I give it a meh.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — That’s no good

*2021-06-05, version 3.1*

Download the app paid and I can’t do anything with this thing are you all this features and none Of it Compute or calculates itself do you have to do everything manually

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money. Difficult app to use.

*2019-12-10, version 3.1*

I had hopes for this app. I did read the reviews, but since some of the complaints were a couple of years old I was hoping the issues were fixed. They are not. It’s difficult to scroll through the food list because the the titles do not fit on the screen, so you’re needing to click each one until you find what you eat, if it’s even listed. This app also does not allow you to scan a barcode and have all the information of that food item to automatically appear. If you want to add a food item to the list, you need to personally add all the nutritional information yourself. This is extremely time consuming considering none of the protein shakes or bars I eat are not listed.

### 1/5 — Doesn't Work as Stated

*2019-02-06, version 3.1*

This is the worst - a waste of 99 cents. The idea is great - but try adding custom foods - if you are a huge fast food eater this app might help you see what fats and carbs you are consuming - for anything else its a waste of timr

### 1/5 — Good idea. Horrible execution.

*2019-01-29, version 3.1*

I want an app to track daily protein intake. This app sets out to do that, and has a decent construct. But it completely fails when you go to look up food. Type in “Chicken” and it gives you 4 pages of Burger King and Campbell Soup options. You have to scroll way way way down to find simple chicken breast, which then neglects to specify how much. Don’t bother trying to find “nut bar.” Not useful. Needs better search mechanism.

### 1/5 — Thousands of foods but what I’m trying to enter

*2018-07-23, version 3.0*

I had to enter more foods than not. Kens Salad Dressings, Jennie-O products - nothing when I searched. Easier to manually track protein. I’ll just call this a $1 wasted.

### 1/5 — Confusing

*2018-04-15, version 3.0*

Super confusing system. Seems like a great app but still can’t figure out how to actually add in my food/exercise/protein for the day. Would be nice if they’d include a tutorial of some sort.

### 1/5 — Dissatisfied

*2013-07-15, version 2.0*

Very poorly done ! Do not waste your time downloading ! Very useless.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2012-07-09, version 1.2*

Waste of my money. Would be a lot easier to use if they had more options rather than me adding every food I eat. Didnt even have popular items like Greek yogurt.

### 2/5 — Feels like an alpha version

*2018-12-16, version 3.1*

Difficult to find common foods.

Bug. Overwriting causing gibberish print on screen.

Can’t specify which meal you were eating at—the app decides this based on time of day, I think. So if you input all your foods in the evening, they’ll all be dinner.

Sometimes you have to convert ounces to grams outside the app.

Bug. Sometimes the app lets you think that you can specify the unit, but if you do beyond default, you get gibberish.

### 2/5 — Pain in the butt

*2018-11-09, version 3.1*

I bought this to track my intake. I can’t get it to count water! There isn’t an option to save my intake! Very frustrating. Also the common foods...didn’t have peanut butter! Really? It has just about every nut in every form on here but no peanuts on their own and no peanut butter. If it’s on there it’s not under the title is should be. The first foods I ate were activia yogurt and peanut butter I had to add both. It’s a royal pain to use. Too many screen to move through. It needs simplified. It shouldn’t take 3 minutes to enter something! The learning curve is not enjoyable with this app. Please fix these things and add real common food not just odd nuts and seeds and weird brands of yogurts. Actually...make it so that when someone adds a food that it updates the overall list and make life easier for everyone.

## Most praised reviews (8 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2016-03-27, version 2.0*

It's a great app and I love how it gives me a heads up on what is high on Protien base goods. Need to add restaurant like Mellow Mushroom and other places like that or something like that. Thanks and keep up the good works and a the app

### 5/5 — Great app

*2013-01-08, version 2.0*

I don't give 5 stars to a lot of apps but this one went all out. There is so much food in here programmed. All major food markets and fast foods are in there along with all regular foods. You can create a custom food so of they don't have your protein shake in there you can add it. Also it allows you to add whole meals instead of having to go and select them individually. Don't get me wrong little things would add to it like lettered quick scrolls so you don't have to keep scrolling and scrolling to get to what you want. But don't know who said it is hard to navigate I thought it was rather easy. But def worth the $0.99.

### 5/5 — More than what I was expecting

*2012-11-20, version 2.0*

For a dollar I thought I would take a risk after reading the bad reviews, I never wright reviews on apps because I usually don't care, but this app by far is worth it's weight in gold. Database has literally hundreds of different foods if not thousands , easy to maneuver once you use it for a day, and what I thought was incredible is that it can chart all your protein , sodium , sugar, etc over years of time , and you can actually see the crap your putting into your body. If there is not a food you want then you can just creat the info on it, but I have yet to use that since there is a lot of foods on there already . this app is a pretty powerful tool.

### 5/5 — Great for post Bariatric surgery!!

*2012-08-05, version 1.2*

This is the BEST app I've seen for protein and fluid consumption tracking, especially for post bariatric surgery. Very easy to use and to add items. Excellent and simple overview display If they could support landscape view, I could then be able to read entire description (of food item from the list) on my iPhone.

### 3/5 — Bar Code Scanner

*2012-08-23, version 1.2*

This app would be awesome if it had a bar code scanner, so that customers could just scanner a code and the in could poop up.

### 2/5 — Ugh.

*2016-01-28, version 2.0*

I had to delete this. It needs a barcode. It doesn't have any of my local grocery stores. Doesn't have a wawa coffee selection it needs improvement. Very good idea just needs to update

### 2/5 — Finding foods is challenging

*2013-02-12, version 2.0*

I like a lot of things about this app, but finding foods from the database killed it for me. The search function is awful, and the list returned has entries that are too wide for the phone screen. The only thing that differentiates the 15 'baby food' entries that come up when I type in 'beef' (and I'm not looking for baby food) is off the right edge of the screen.

### 2/5 — Too confusing

*2013-02-07, version 2.0*

Just downloaded this app wanted to be able to track my protein etc throughout the day. I find this to be to confusing with to many sections.
