## What is protip?

So there you are at your favorite restaurant. You've just had a lovely meal with a few of your closest friends. Everyone is laughing and having fun until the check comes. How much do you tip? How much does everyone need to pay? Oh no! The night is ruined. People start arguing. Food is thrown. You get kicked out. Lame. 

That's what would have happened but because you're about to download the protip iPhone app you never have to worry about that happening again! 

Simply key in the value of the check, select how much you feel like tipping and the app instantly works out the perfect tip amount. Not only that if you're splitting the bill with friends just select how many friends you're splitting the bill with and protip will do the rest. It's pretty sexy, too.

Protip does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's a simple, well designed tip calculator that figures out tips and evenly splits bills. Definitely worth the download.

I've been looking for a simple, quick, easy to use tip calculator and this seems to fit the bill.  Open app and it displays the calculator, key in amount and you instantly get the tip.  Great app.  Would have given it 5 stars if there was a way to control the sounds (loud/soft/off).
