## What is Protocol?

Your data has a plan. Now follow it.

You already wear the ring. You log the meals. You track the workouts. But every app lives in its own world, and "what should I do today?" still takes four app opens and some mental math.

Protocol reads your Oura, WHOOP, and Apple Health data together, tells you the one thing that matters each morning, and helps you build the habits that get you there.

THE MORNING READ
Your coach reads the night before you have made a single decision. One clear call for the day, then swipe for the why: the numbers behind it, today's moves, your fuel, and your wins. It is waiting as a notification when you wake up.

YOUR COACH
Not a chatbot you have to brief. Your coach already has your sleep, recovery, training, and food, so every answer starts from your baselines, not population averages. Ask whether to train hard today, why your HRV dipped, or what to eat next, and get an answer with charts from your own data. Give it a name if you like.

MEAL LOGGING IN SECONDS
Snap your plate, say it, or type a few words. Photograph a label or a menu, scan a barcode, or tap a saved meal. Protocol estimates the macros, and you fix them in plain English: "I only ate half." Or just tell Siri, without opening the app.

HABITS THAT STICK
Turn goals into if-then plans: "When I pour my morning coffee, I will take my supplements." Schedule them or tie them to the moments you usually slip, put them in your order, and tick them off each day. Your coach sees what you did and builds on it.

TRAIN
Log every set by tap or voice: say "50 for 10" and it fills in, prefilled from last time, with a rest timer. Snap a screenshot of another app's workout and it fills in. Follow a program, or turn a photo of your plan into one. Estimated one-rep max and PRs show where each lift is heading. Workouts from Apple Health and WHOOP count once, and your coach weighs every set against your recovery.

TODAY, AT A GLANCE
Three rings, Move, Fuel, and Recover, show where your day stands. Every metric is scored against your own goal: hit, almost, or miss. Supplements, water, and your week live on the same screen.

EVERY NUMBER HAS A STORY
Tap any metric for its history, your 7-day pattern, and the coach's read on what to do next. Trends runs from 7 days to a year, with the coach calling out what is working and what is holding you back.

YOUR LABS, IN CONTEXT
Import a lab report as a PDF or a screenshot. Every marker gets its history across draws and a plain-language explanation, shown against the reference ranges printed on your own report.

WORKS WITH YOUR STACK
Keep every app you love. We make them talk.
- Apple Health: steps, sleep, workouts, heart rate, HRV, and food from apps that write to it
- Oura: sleep, readiness, HRV, and temperature
- WHOOP: recovery, strain, and sleep

BUILT AROUND YOUR FOCUS
Pick the tabs you want and put them in your order: training, nutrition, labs, habits, or the coach first.

Plus cycle tracking from Apple Health, and a forest-dark theme for early mornings.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Connect Apple Health, Oura, or WHOOP
2. Set your goals
3. Stay on protocol

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.7.0 — 2026-11-03

Train is here.

Train is now part of Protocol Pro on iPhone and the web.
• Start a workout from your program, a template or a blank page, or log one by voice, typing or screenshots.
• Log every set by tap or voice, prefilled from last time, with a rest timer. The lift you're on stays open with a check for each set, and you can fill in planned sets ahead of time.
• See where each lift is heading: estimated 1RM, rep maxes and PRs.
• Follow a program, or turn a photo or notes of your plan into one.
• Swipe a lift to skip, remove or swap it, swipe a set to delete it, and drag to reorder. Skipped lifts wait at the bottom, one tap to bring back, and a skip or delete can be undone. Similar lifts show first, and a workout's changes can carry over to next time.
• Choose whether weights go up on their own, or keep last time's weight with a tip.
• Your coach reads every set.

Also new
• Your tab bar now starts from the #1 goal you pick at sign up. Change it any time from More.

### 1.6.16 — 2026-10-30

Catch up on missed meals.

• Forgot to log yesterday? Tap the morning reminder to pick from your usual foods, then press Add.
• Log food in another nutrition app too? Choose "Protocol only" under Food from Apple Health on the Meal Log so meals aren't counted twice.
• Oura members now see VO2 max from Oura on Today and in the VO2 max goal.
• Search how-to guides from More → Help.

Train beta
• The workout clock stops after 3 idle hours and asks "Still going?"

### 1.6.15 — 2026-10-28

Quicker meal logging.

• Log a food you've had before at a new amount: tap the sliders next to it, pick ½×, 1.5×, 2× or 3×, or type your own, like 3 eggs instead of last time's 5.
• Tap a food's name to review it before logging, or tap + to log it as is.
• Recent now covers your last 90 days, including saved foods, and scrolls in place.
• Food search is faster and more reliable. Partial words work, "eggs" finds your "egg" foods, and "Search all foods" shows database results on their own.

Train beta
• Add a lift mid-workout and its history opens before your first set.
• The plates label no longer pushes the workout logger sideways.

### 1.6.14 — 2026-10-27

Faster logging, down to the gram.

• Log your weight in two taps: tap + on any tab and choose Log weight, or use the new Log weight button on Today's Body card.
• See exactly how much you ate: open any logged food to see the amount in grams, and change it to what you actually had.
• Your meal list now shows the amount next to each food, like 150 g or 2 servings.
• Weigh your food? Set "1 serving = __ g" on any food, then type what the scale says. Macros adjust automatically.
• A weekly check-in from your coach: each Wednesday your coach reaches out first with a look at your week. Reply in one tap. Turn it off anytime in Settings.

Train beta
• Tap any exercise name, or "Last time", while you lift to see that exercise's full history without leaving your workout.
• Say this set now fills in the set for you to check before it's logged.
• Log cardio from a photo of the machine screen, now read more accurately.
• Tap a set's number to select it for a quick change.

### 1.6.13 — 2026-10-26

Meet More: everything else, one tap away.

• The last tab is now More. It holds the tabs you haven't pinned, plus You, Connections, Settings and Help.
• Rearrange your tab bar right from More with Edit tabs.
• Coach and Goals open as full pages from More, with a back arrow, when they aren't in your tab bar.
• Connections has its own page for Apple Health, WHOOP and Oura, including which source wins when two overlap.
• Missing an app or device? Request it from Connections and tell us what you'd want from it.
• Settings is easier to scan: notifications, data sources, units and time zone each have their own row.
• About, What's New, Privacy and Terms now open right inside the app.
• Share Protocol with a friend from You, Settings or Help.
