However, on multiple devices, the connection would get “stale” after ~3 hours. Even though settings and the proton app showed I was connected, no traffic getting through. To resolve, I had to manually disconnect then reconnect. In the end I decided to use the Wireguard app and load a Wireguard configuration from Proton.
