Despite the convenience of watching YouTube ad-free, it is not worth the invasion of privacy! First, I have been using this app without signing in to a YouTube account. This app has been building a profile on my activities, despite having telemetry disabled. My OS settings are also fairly hardened. Second, I noticed that my camera was active (there is a green light next to your front-facing camera to indicate this) while I allowing a video to play on this app! It was the only app I had open and active, as I clear all of my background apps by swiping them up. I did NOT give this app access to my camera, as it does not even request camera access. Invasion of privacy is a violation of fundamental human rights, and it is unwise for a mere Limited Liability Company to engage in such business practices. I have extensive documentation of unorthodox events, and I recommend that all users stay vigilant while using this app. Justice will prevail. ### 1/5 — Stay Away *2026-08-10, version 1.3.3* Lots of bugs.
