## What is ProveOnce?

ProveOnce is the privacy-first identity verification app that lets you prove your age or identity to any participating merchant — once — without sharing your personal information.

When a merchant needs to verify your age, you scan their QR code or enter a short code in the app. ProveOnce confirms only what's required (for example, "over 21") and issues a secure, revocable token. The merchant sees a yes or no. They never see your name, date of birth, address, government ID, or selfie. Ever.

Your verified identity is encrypted and stored only on ProveOnce's secure servers — not on your device, not in anyone else's database. You can see exactly who has verified you, and revoke access to any merchant at any time with a single tap.
