## Newest reviews (15 of 55)

### 2/5 — Attention to detail

*2026-02-16, version 1.0.6*

Needs more granular scaling of the history temp graph, only every hour which is not very usefull. Should be able to export data as well

### 3/5 — Could be much better

*2024-09-20, version 1.0.4*

Simple and not difficult and limited scheduling. Also, loud beep sound each time you touch the screen options is very annoying. Why such a loud beep? Only option is to close put phone on silent. Feels like app is incomplete but it still functions on a basic level.

### 1/5 — Can’t do anything

*2024-04-04, version 1.0.3*

It looses the device regularly. It won’t connect to the hotspot it wants to join. It doesn’t remember any of your information and you have to log in all again and reconnect the device except the device doesn’t want to connect. Any of the ways you try and connect your device again it won’t work so you can’t change any of the settings. The actual device is so fiddly as well you can’t do anything with it and it’s so complicated to figure out what you have to do.

### 3/5 — Is the display temperature floor or room?

*2023-09-25, version 1.0.2*

Not sure if I’m setting the room temperature or the floor temperature .

### 1/5 — Not well thought out

*2023-03-10, version 1.0.2*

I can’t make head nor tail of this. The app settings do not marry up to the settings on the unit, which is an obvious clanger and don’t get me started on the underfloor hearing cables themselves.

### 2/5 — Not very flexible schedule

*2023-02-27, version 1.0.2*

This works as a remote control for your thermostat and makes it ‘smart’, yes - but why does the heating schedule for Mon-Fri all have to be the same? I want my room heated differently on different days, as I don’t have a regular working pattern but it’s impossible to program this. Very disappointing and inflexible.

### 1/5 — Rubbish customer service

*2022-11-26, version 1.0.2*

App works ok, but is a pain to navigate.
Customer service is non existent, asked a Q via the app and no response several days later. Thermostat has not updated its time when the clocks went back one hour, so all scheduled on/off periods are now useless.

### 2/5 — 1960s tech given a 2020s face

*2022-09-14, version 1.0.2*

This is unbelievably fiddly to set (for eg, to change time / temp you have to open a rotating display, which automatically closes again moments later - you need very fast fingers. And if you’re making a big change to the time, you have to remember to change the on and off in the right order because it won’t let you set the on time after the off or vv, even for the brief period while you’re setting it). My work flips pretty randomly between two very different schedules, so I have to programme my heating on a daily basis. No two weeks are the same. But I have to do every day from scratch, for both my controllers, because there’s no copy function between days let alone between controllers. The whole thing takes forever. This is no different in functional design from the one I grew up with, more time ago than I care to mention - why? This type of control is capable of so much more.

### 1/5 — Was working

*2022-05-29, version 1.0.2*

Was working fine till this morning. Now crashes when opening, even after reinstalling!

### 2/5 — Average system

*2022-03-28, version 1.0.2*

Limited functionality

### 1/5 — Appalling

*2022-01-19, version 1.0.2*

This app is total rubbish. Don’t bother. Can’t find the thermostat 90% of the time, you have to login to some Chinese website to control you own heating even on a local LAN. The diagnosis just trys to ping and trace route the thermostat. Not been updated in 2 years. I’m gonna have serious words with the electrician that installed it.

### 1/5 — Not fit for purpose

*2021-12-16, version 1.0.2*

App is nothing like the illustrations in thermostat instructions. Also needs to be updated to work on 5ghz Wifi - pretty standard now. My Wifi broadcasts in both 5 and 2.5 but you can’t split them (all my other devices that only work on 2.5 just automatically select that) but apparently this app/thermostat can’t so can’t link up to thermostat over Wifi. So complete waste of time. Not fit for purpose. If I had known beforehand I would have bought a different thermostat.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2021-11-07, version 1.0.2*

Completely unable to connect to Wi-Fi, connect to phone, or to make it do anything. Maddening waste of time.

### 1/5 — App no longer works

*2021-11-04, version 1.0.2*

I bought this thermostat purely because it could be controlled by the app. After owning it for about 3 weeks the app no longer works and I just get a blank white screen instead of the controls. No response when I sent a fault report. No idea if it’s going to get fixed.

### 2/5 — Blank white screen

*2021-11-03, version 1.0.2*

All I get now Is a blank white page when I load the app. Unable to use the app to operate the floor

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Horrible design app

*2025-12-13, version 1.0.6*

Unnecessarily difficult to use. Why couldnt it be more Hive app or similar.

### 1/5 — Too complicated

*2025-11-30, version 1.0.6*

Totally cluttered - hard to follow - could it be worse?

### 1/5 — Hang

*2025-11-19, version 1.0.6*

Had this system for 3 years never been able to set WiFi up.

### 1/5 — Unless app

*2025-10-30, version 1.0.6*

One of my thermostat disconnected and after deleting, can’t find it on the app again to reconnect! Every thing is listening but thermostat!

### 1/5 — The hardest app to use

*2025-10-25, version 1.0.6*

After having to spend many hours setting up and then spending more time with the most helpful member of staff we managed to set all 4 WiFi thermostats up. But now 12 mths later after not using the app though the summer I return to all thermostats have come off the app and here we go again. Very disappointing.

### 1/5 — Why is app software getting so bad

*2025-09-06, version 1.0.6*

It’s ok and does what I want, however I can’t for the life of me connect it to google home. I would also love to see the floor temperature and room temperature on the main screen. How hard could that be?? Logged me out. Go away.

### 1/5 — Who am I?

*2025-04-24, version 1.0.4*

App keeps logging me out, forgetting device, resetting itself. Keeps defaulting to 21 degrees 100% of the time and is costing me a fortune in gas bills.

### 1/5 — Poor all round

*2025-02-24, version 1.0.4*

The app is fiddly to use, the heated flooring not great and the customer service non-existent.
I recently contacted customer support and have received no response. I set the heated flooring to be sat 23 degrees. 20 mins later I return to the room and it’s still cold. Enter the app and the heating has mysteriously dropped down to 19.5 degrees. It does this almost every time. Why? No response.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2024-11-25, version 1.0.4*

Instructions with thermostat box say “scan the QR code to set up” except there is no QR code on instructions or the box.

Manually download the app, click “Add Device”. App asks to check the device is in pairing mode. Scroll through setup menu on device. Nothing. Read the instruction booklet, no mention on pairing. Search the internet, nothing on the prowarm site. Find a YouTube video saying to hold up and down arrows at same time. Do that and the Wi-Fi logo starts flashing.

The app detects the EV charger in the garage but not the bathroom thermostat I’m standing next to, or the en-suite thermostat.

Repeat several times. Factory reset the thermostats. Delete the app and reinstall.
Nothing.
Waste of time.

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2024-10-16, version 1.0.4*

App was paired to underfloor heating but stopped working. Spent ages trying to re-connect and looking at troubleshooting info/videos but still not sorted. Contacted also Pro Warm.Com who have not helped. V disappointed and disillusioned with this app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Does what it says on the tin

*2026-02-12, version 1.0.6*

Not sure about the other reviews here but for me, it’s been pretty straightforward to setup the device onto the app and functioning as needed. I connected it to the WiFi thermostat, updated it and it’s been working fine since then so got nothing but praise for it thus far.

### 5/5 — Easy Control

*2023-02-28, version 1.0.2*

Great app, very easy and zone control is fab !

### 5/5 — Apple home

*2023-01-10, version 1.0.2*

This app is impressive you can turn you heating on from anywhere as long as you have wifi however I would love to be able to connect Siri as it’s only able to connect to Alexa and google assistant

### 5/5 — It works

*2022-11-10, version 1.0.2*

Yep, I can confirm, it’s works and it works well.

### 5/5 — Technical Support

*2021-05-16, version 1.0.2*

Great service from Sales desk at 8am Basildon where I purchased the ProTouch WiFi Thermostats last Wednesday. Replacing underfloor heating controls that were 16 years old with new technology was going to be tough challenge.

The Technical support from David Johnson Head of Technical was outstanding, he listened to the technical issues and was able to quickly advise how to rewire and install the new controllers — first class personal service!

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2021-01-18, version 1.0.2*

We are going to get the whole house done, it works a treat under 10mm tiles

### 5/5 — 5* Great App

*2019-12-16, version 1.0.2*

Very easy to use and I can now control my heating from anywhere in the world!

### 4/5 — Nice features

*2023-10-15, version 1.0.3*

Good, but not enough space at the bottom of the UI for on off switch an full screen model iPhones

### 4/5 — Ok, but a few tweaks and would be better

*2021-10-01, version 1.0.2*

For example, there’s relatively limited choice in configuration options during the day, but it’s still quite fiddly to set up. Also, it would be good if you could copy the settings from one day or device to another

### 4/5 — Good app that’s easy to use

*2021-06-23, version 1.0.2*

Could do with a 1 hour boost setting to prevent those moments of forgetfulness when you set the temperature high for a short while but forget to reset it later.
