## What is Proximity Tracker?

Proximity Tracker is a secured enterprise proximity and location tracking solution. The Proximity Tracker mobile app is used to configure IoT hardware tags and beacons which either connect to a Gateway device or to a smartphone. This helps administrators ensure that a tagged asset or an individual remains in proximity to a smartphone or a gateway.

The solution can use the device's GPS to share the smartphone’s location with the administrator and it uses Bluetooth Low Energy to analyze the smartphone’s proximity to the paired hardware tag. 

Use this app to define a base location for individuals, workers, and tagged machinery. The app will help you ensure that the assigned tag remains on the premises of your warehouse, factory, business, venue, etc. Set a time interval and enable reminders for individuals, lone and late-night workers to check-in with the administrator.
