It reads every calendar already on your iPhone, so iCloud, Google, Exchange and Outlook all show up together the moment you grant access. Nothing to configure, no extra sign-ins. A LOCK SCREEN BANNER, NOT A STRIP (Pro) It used to be a colour bar, a title, a location and a countdown squeezed onto one row. It now uses the space it actually has: • A background tinted with the event's own calendar colour, and the calendar's name above the title • The full time range and the location • A progress bar that advances on its own while the event runs • A last line carrying either your leave-by time or what follows — "Then 15.30 Standup" — never both, because knowing when to leave outranks a preview What comes next is worked out from the current moment, not from when the featured event started, so an event that began this morning no longer offers up something already past. Switch it on with the bolt in Up Next. ALSO FIXED • A banner that disappeared for any reason never came back. The button stayed on, your Lock Screen stayed empty, and the only way out was switching it off and on again • Turning it on with nothing left to count down to no longer flips itself back off without saying why — it tells you what it found instead • The button is orange when the feature is on and grey when it is off, instead of changing with your light or dark theme Your calendar is still read-only and stays on your iPhone. Thanks for using Proximum! ### 1.2.6 — 2026-09-05 Three improvements to the Lock Screen widgets, mostly from your reports. THE CIRCULAR WIDGET IS NOW YOUR CHOICE It has always decided for itself — a countdown when your next event was close, the number of events left today when it wasn't. That rule is fine, but from the Lock Screen it looks like the widget changing its mind on its own, and there was no way to ask for one or the other. • Automatic — the existing behaviour, still the default. Nothing changes unless you want it to • Time until next — always counts down to your next event, however far out it is, now in minutes, hours or days rather than a long run of hours • Events today — always shows how many events you have left Choose it in Proximum → Widgets → Content → "Circular widget". ALSO FIXED • The event name on the rectangular widget keeps its full size instead of shrinking until it matched the smaller text beneath it. A long name wraps onto a second line rather than being squeezed onto one, so the event you are looking at reads as the main one again • On Automatic, the ring no longer counts down to something hours away inside an empty circle. Within the window you set under "Countdown begins" it fills and counts down as before; past it, it shows how many events you have left today Your calendar is still read-only and stays on your iPhone. Thanks for using Proximum! ### 1.2.5 — 2026-09-03 Four new ways to shape your widget — and "Group by day" now works everywhere it said it did. NEW — EACH STARTS SET TO WHAT YOU HAVE NOW • Event progression — see how far through the current event you are, as a bar that fills (Horizontal) or a dot that slides down a track (Vertical), or switch it off entirely. One setting in Proximum → Widgets → Style, replacing the two separate progress switches • Countdown begins — choose how close an event has to be before its clock time turns into a live countdown: 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, in Proximum → Widgets → Content. Further out, the scheduled time reads better than "in 7h 12m" • Right side of a row — choose "Time until", "Start & end" (both times stacked, the way Apple's Calendar widget reads) or nothing, in Proximum → Widgets → Content • Live Activity hold — when an event starts, keep it on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island for 15, 30 or 45 minutes, until it ends, or switch to the next event straight away. In Proximum → Settings under Pro Features "GROUP BY DAY" NOW WORKS IN EVERY LAYOUT It only ever worked in List. Spotlight and Timeline quietly ignored it, so the setting sat there doing nothing on two of the three layouts. If your widget is set to Spotlight or Timeline with grouping switched on, you'll see day headings on it for the first time — and one or two fewer events, because the headings take room. That is what the setting was always asking for. Turn grouping off in Proximum → Widgets → Content to get the space back. ALSO FIXED • A row could briefly read "Now" for an event that hadn't started yet • The Live Activity could move to a different event when your calendar changed • Swiping the Live Activity away from the Lock Screen no longer switches the feature off — it dismisses that one event and leaves the feature on for the next one, instead of needing the lightning button pressed again every time • Pro features are now clearly marked as Pro, instead of looking available and then declining • Leave-by is Proximum's own estimate, routed live from wherever you are. It isn't the Travel Time you may have set on an event in Apple Calendar — that one stays private to Calendar and no other app can read it. Proximum's settings now explain the difference LOCK SCREEN • The rectangular widget no longer crowds out its own text — both event names now appear in full rather than trailing off, and an event that has already started says "Now" instead of showing a start time that has passed • The inline widget beside the clock keeps the event's name instead of spending the space on the day and time • A multi-day event no longer shows the day it began while it is still running • The countdown ring now says "left" while you are in an event, so it can't be mistaken for the time until the next one Your calendar is still read-only and stays on your iPhone. Thanks for using Proximum! ### 1.2.4 — 2026-09-01 Small things that were quietly wrong, put right. WIDGETS • With smart event icons on, an event that matched no icon was left without one at all, and its title sat out of line with the rows above and below it. Every row now keeps the same indent • Week at a Glance counted overlapping meetings twice, so two meetings sharing an hour read as two busy hours instead of one. Days that looked fuller than they really were now read correctly • Week at a Glance also counted the same meeting twice when it reached you through two accounts, and it now follows your chosen calendars and muted keywords like the rest of the app • A setting you change is saved before your widgets are asked to redraw, so a quick run of changes can't leave a widget showing the previous one MORNING DIGEST (PRO) • A busy day no longer crowds out the days behind it — the digests for tomorrow and the day after arrive even when today is packed PRO • Buying Pro now works on the first tap, even when the App Store hasn't finished loading the price yet. If it truly can't be reached, you're told so instead of the button doing nothing • A purchase that arrives in the background — restored on another device, or approved after a delay — is now completed properly instead of being offered to you again Your calendar is still read-only and stays on your iPhone. Thanks for using Proximum! ### 1.2.3 — 2026-08-26 All-day events can now take a back seat. • Dim all-day events instead of hiding them — birthdays, holidays and out-of-office days stay on your widget, drawn faded and softly gray so the events with a real time stand out • Switch it on in Proximum → Widgets → Content → "Dim all-day events" • Works in every layout: List, Spotlight and Timeline Your calendar is still read-only and stays on your iPhone.
