## What is Proxxi?

Proxxi helps you discover what is happening nearby, search any city, and meet people around you without turning your location into a broadcast.

Use Proxxi to find source-checked events, see what is heating up, browse a real map, join nearby rooms, and start conversations with people who share your interests, work, campus, conference, culture, or community.

WHO IT IS FOR
Proxxi is for locals, travelers, students, founders, creators, organizers, professionals, people exploring nightlife, and anyone who wants better nearby signal without stale listings or endless swiping. It started in St. Louis, but it is built for every city where real events and nearby people are active.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Browse nearby and city-based events
- Search any city when you want to explore beyond where you are
- See events in list, map, and timeline views
- Save, RSVP, share, get directions, and open the official source
- Use Radar when you choose to see nearby people, rooms, and activity
- Get optional Radar alerts when another Proxxi user enters your approximate radar space
- Snooze Radar alerts when you are somewhere crowded or want quiet
- Message people and build real-world connections
- Use translation support when conversations cross languages
- Explore profiles through interests, identity, and shared context
- Block/report other users directly from Radar person cards, profiles, and the message Safety menu
- Report bad events or profiles so trust issues can be reviewed

PRIVACY FIRST
Proxxi does not show your exact GPS location to other people. Radar uses approximate proximity and clear controls, and you can turn sharing modes on or off. Live location features are opt-in only.

BUILT FOR REAL CONNECTIONS
No endless swiping. No noisy feed. Proxxi is built around real places, real events, and meaningful nearby moments.

Proxxi is free during beta. No subscriptions or in-app purchases are offered in this launch build. Future paid features will only be introduced after App Store products are approved and available through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

Nearby plans are safer and more trustworthy with earned host reputation, venue confirmation, guest code check-ins, stronger reporting, and faster plan details. Check-ins never collect attendee GPS. Events and city discovery are also more responsive and reliable.

Proxxi now knows what's nearby: a denser St. Louis feed (day parties, jazz, Juneteenth weekend, civic, faith, college), neighborhood names on every card, a faster smoother app top to bottom, Sign in with Apple, and event shares that open straight in the app.

This update improves Events, Map, and Radar responsiveness across the app. Events are sorted through a richer category brain, city search is lighter and faster, map scans are calmer while you move around, event imagery is cleaner, and safety/reporting flows remain front and center.
