## What is Prün?

Prün is a zero-knowledge password manager built for people who take security seriously.

Your vault is encrypted entirely on your device using AES-256-GCM with a master password only you know. Prün never sees, stores, or transmits your master password or unencrypted credentials. This is the same dual-layer architecture used by 1Password and Bitwarden — only you can decrypt your vault.
