Submitted it to Pruvo and within a coupdays was notified of a lower price! Saved me a couple hundred. Was super easy to book, then cancel my other reservation, the app walked me through it. Might even save again before the trip happens. Try Pruvo, you’ve got nothing to lose but so much to gain :-) **Developer response:** Wow! Awesome story! Glad you were one of the 25%! ### 5/5 — Easy Way to Watch Reservations and Save Money *2019-11-08* I love the Pruvo app. It helped me save $200 on my recent hotel reservation by alerting me to a lower price hotel. It watches prices for you and lets you know when and where to purchase reservations. Thank you ### 5/5 — Great service *2019-10-05* Awesome app. Booked all my hotels in Feb for a trip to the USA in December and then used Pruvo to monitor them for price discounts. So far I’ve rebooked 2 at significant discounts (saved around $300 USD). It’s super easy to enter a reservation - just forward the email to Pruvo and it’s done. Had some concerns about one of the booking sites Pruvo showed with a discount. Contacted Pruvo staff via chat and was given all the info I needed to be confident in rebooking my hotel with them. This is very impressive engineering and service. Enjoyed it so much I had to download their app. **Developer response:** Fantastic. Yes, that is the whole idea behind the Chrome extension - to act like an insurance policy in case you forgot to send your reservation to Pruvo. May someone help me to figure it out? ### 1/5 — No workey *2020-02-06* Started the app. Initiated with email address. No verification email. Tried to resend. Unresponsive. Deleted app. Downloaded again. Same thing. Chat box pops up. Won’t let me respond: after type in message, won’t send. Delete app. Period. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. The verification email probably ended up in your spam folder. As for the chat issue, it seems like it happens in certain iPhone models and we are already working to fix that. This app accesses your whole Gmail account. ### 2/5 — Never able to act on lower rate *2024-08-09* So I’ve had multiple “hits” claiming that there is a lower rate. Make sure to get immediate alerts. But not one has actually come through, and when I click to see or act on the lower rate, I just get a loop saying “your money saving will start in a few seconds”… and nothing. So, I am not a fan of Pruvo at this time — not living up to the promise. ### 2/5 — Not working so far *2019-10-21* Maybe this works only from direct hotel booking sites, because I sent an American Airlines booking email with free cancellation and so far none of the documents I’ve sent is acceptable. **Developer response:** Hi. Pruvo works for hotels booked on any site, as long as they have free cancellation. The fact that you have not received an email alert is because there has not been a price drop in the market for your reservation. Price drops occur 40% of the time, not 100% of the time. ### 3/5 — Buggy *2025-01-10* Signing up & signing in and out is difficult as login screen jumps around and forces multiple attempts. Poor UI usually extends to a poor app imho. Not confident in how useful this will prove to be. I contacted that booking website and was credited US$241! I also had some questions about configuring my account, so I contacted Pruvo support. They were patient and prompt! Thus far, I’m very impressed and by all accounts, appear to be a convert! I’m quite pleased and highly recommend checking this app out. ### 5/5 — Great app *2020-11-15, version 1.0.69* I’ve uploaded 2 bookings for 2021. Within 15 minutes, I received a email with an identical booking with a discount ranging from £10 to £35 (initial booking cost of £115) depending if I pay now or later.
