Dont use that app ### 1/5 — AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *2021-07-13, version 1.0.35* Due to this useless/pathetic app my Philips soundbar has completely stopped working and lost it’s HDMI and Bluetooth functionalities. This buggy app started a software update on the soundbar and after it had finished the soundbar is now completely useless. Philips technical support is by far the worst and inexperienced department ever encountered. AVOID THIS COMPANY AND PHILIPS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! ### 1/5 — Déconnexion *2021-06-06* J’ai réussi à connecter mon enceinte 1 fois, et depuis lorsque j’essaye de me reconnecter, il me dit de connecter mon enceinte (Fidelio B97) alors qu’elle l’ai déjà puisque je diffuse de la musique par l’intermédiaire de l’application Philips Sound. Die Apps von Philips könnten von der deutschen Automobilindustrie oder den deutschen Banken stammen. Nutzerführung ist ein Fremdwort: Die Übersetzungen und Benennungen mies, der Aufbau unlogisch. Weshalb habe ich für ein und die selbe Sache zwei Apps (Fine Tune und die Sound App); kann ich in beiden Firmwareupdates anstoßen? Weshalb sind manche Einstellungen nicht persistent? Warum steht angeblich ne neue Firmware bereit, ich kann aber nichts runterladen? Dazu verliert die App einfach mal so die Verbindung zB zur Soundbar... Nice and easy just FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! Don’t move away from the app and just let it do its thing. Will say UPG and some numbers on the soundbar which looks to be a percentage. Stays at 99 for a little while then resets. After reading the reviews on here including the highlighted one saying it bricked the soundbar, I was a little nervous, however went ahead with it as it was saying it needed to update and was having problems connecting. ### 5/5 — Worked for a few hours 🤷🏼‍♂️ *2023-11-11, version 1.0.41* As required for my new soundbar I added this and the Music app so as to update software and firmware… so far so good. Initially it gave me sound control (eq, bass, treble etc), however it now is stuck on Firmware status page. I have deleted app, re downloaded, connected, but all I get is Firmware status confirming my soundbar is up to date, there is no longer ANY sound controls … Any ideas ?? Edit: out of the blue full functionality has returned 😉 happy bunny ### 2/5 — App stürzt immer ab *2024-05-23* Ich soll ein Update für meine Philips Soundbar durchführen. Angeblich wichtig. Problem - die App stützt immer ab. Da bekommt man ja Angst, ein Update - falls möglich - anzustoßen….. leider sehr enttäuschend. Echt blöd, das jedes mal neu einzustellen! Beim Skippen oder Album-Wechsel bricht immer mal wieder die Verbindung zur Fidelio ab. Die Fidelio braucht oft sehr lange, um den Befehlen der Musik-App (Lautstärke, Stopp, Skip..) zu folgen.
