I have to re-log back in every other day, which is super annoying, especially when you received multiple updates daily. ### 2/5 — Need FaceID *2022-08-04, version 6.5* App is clunky, but functional. Should be able to download photos while they’re open and not just from the preview screen, but I can live with that. The lack of FaceID support is appalling. I rely on the email push updates as this app will not allow me to stay logged in. And it doesn’t save the password so you’re forced to type it in each time. Being that it’s for a preschool Monday thru Friday it doesn’t make sense for me to have to log back in every day. Frequently certain pages will not load, to the point where I bypass this app altogether and go a different route to communicate with the school. ### 2/5 — Saving pictures *2021-06-30, version 6.01* Since the last update it’s been very hard to download pictures. ### 2/5 — This app is horrible *2021-03-15, version 6.00* Since the update last week I no longer get notifications and I can’t download images. The app says downloading but will freeze every time I try to download a picture the school sent me. I also have to log in periodically to see if there are any updates because I no longer get the notifications. Whoever designed this app clearly didn’t do any testing. I see the developer claims to have updated this for iPhone 12 for certain features, yet my phone, which is older, does no display the correct aspect ratio which means the place I click on the screen is not where it reads a click. The result is that when I attempt to paste my password, the screen jumps to the bottom, and instead of a cursor in the field that says "paste" it says "select all" on the very bottom of the display field (which is not he bottom of my phone display). If I press "select all", bizarrely, it jumps back up and only then does "paste" pop up. I have hundreds of apps, and this is the only one whose developers don't seem to understand how to keep abreast of new screen sizes, or consider it important to quality control their product. Activity reports don’t show until almost 3 hrs after kid has been checked out, if it even shows at all. When it does show, the report shows 1/4 of the information teacher says was entered. Everything else seems to be disabled. It’s frustrating enough to have to leave your kids at a daycare but it’s even more when the tools that should help you as a parent breathe a little and know your kid is safe DONT WORK!! ### 2/5 — Lacking quite a bit *2020-01-24, version 5.60* Several features are missing. There is no way to have a conversation with the teachers. Just a “send message” option from the parent, none from the teacher. Also once the message is sent, there is no way to look at it again on the app. The other parent doesn’t get any of those messages either. Photos sent by the teacher haven’t reached the parents. Weirdly all the 5 star reviews have almost been written on cue during the last week of April. ### 1/5 — App does not work with new OS *2019-09-24, version 5.60* The developer is not keeping up with the changes with the new operating software system on the phones! Not only I cannot see the default picture since March 2019 but now with the new OS 12.4.1. I only receive the alerts but the app is not working. I can not see the updates that the.school is providing the parents with. What kinda of application is this? How can I keep up with the care of my child if the application does not work?? ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Better apps done by high schoolers *2024-05-13, version 6.6* This app is more like hello world app. There isn’t much of functionality this app provides and everything is very basic and looks amateur. 1. No Face ID or finger scan for auth 2. Session expires every time you open app after few hours 3. No granular notification settings 4. Messaging is a mess, I don’t see msgs my wife sends to teacher and I reply my wife doesn’t see it and we keep asking same thing as we don’t know what other said when sending msg 5. Password managers won’t identify app to auto fill because developer didn’t add associated domain to app High schoolers could have written better app. Sad and unfortunately no choice for us as parent to not use this app. ### 1/5 — Still Full of Bugs *2022-07-28, version 6.5* This app is terrible. In the few years I’ve been using it, bugs have not been fixed. When you open a chat window, you get stuck in the chat window and can’t get back to the rest of the app without turning off your phone. Seriously? It’s glitchy no matter how many times I’ve deleted the app to reinstall it hoping for better results. Its frustrating that my child’s school used this app and 80% of the time I can’t send any messages, view any photos of my kid at school. The developer need to take this into consideration ### 1/5 — Outdated & Glitchy *2021-05-21, version 6.01* When choosing a daycare for our child, the ability to have easy communication and reporting to and from the teachers was a huge area of concern. Unfortunately, this app and platform does not live up to the promises it makes. It is terribly glitchy (can barely send messages most days), there is no way for teachers to message you back, the UI is glitchy, and overall the app seems incredibly outdated. I wish they would either shut the app down and force our child’s school to choose a better alternative, or invest in improving this platform - which it desperately needs. ### 1/5 — App with iPhone 8 Plus and updated iOS 14.4.2 *2021-04-08, version 6.01* Preschool2me no longer shows up with banners when my screen is locked showing updates that a picture was put up or about end of the day activity when children are picked up. Please fix ### 1/5 — Worst app I’ve ever used *2021-03-02* This shouldn’t even pass as an app, it’s extraordinarily buggy. Half of the buttons lead me to a place I can never get back from. I have to crash the app repeatedly just to get to the Home Screen of the app. If I’m typing a message and a notification comes in, my entire message is deleted. I have to type it in my notes and then copy and paste to avoid repeatedly typing it over and over. It would be better to have a website, but there isn’t one. You have to use the awful app. Too bad my only choices are extreme frustration or not getting updates about my kid. Previously the communications loop was significantly lacking ... it was a semi circle more than a loop. Any announcements got buried in email, I would have little info on what they did during the day, trying to deal with changes in pickup plans was a nightmare. P2Me magically solved all those problems. Not sure what’s up with the negative reviews about lost passwords or bugs, I have had no problems and the app works seamlessly for me. I find the interface very user-friendly. I think people are just super uptight when it comes to their kids and will take advantage of any outlet to complain about something. But recently the app has been logging my husband and I out about once or twice a week when we use it almost daily. This hasn’t happened before but it is such an inconvenience.
