No I’m not giving you my email. I uninstalled before getting to the first question. ### 1/5 — Ruined a perfectly good app *2020-03-21, version 2.0.1* Decided to review PSTAR content about 6 months after I initially studied/wrote it. Very disappointed to see that what was a perfectly functional and helpful app has since been ruined and is now borderline unusable. Why am I being prompted to purchase “FREE PSTAR” material? Doesn’t sound so free to me. Please bring back the old style where you could study specific sections or be quizzed at random. Very disappointing. Additionally, since changing their app they now require a login and have been spamming my email with “tips” that I never asked for. ### 2/5 — Requires an account, ok but… *2022-06-07, version 2.0.5* My current Hangaaar account does not work! Makes no sense. This app is basically a web browser. Reindeer question should be no less than 2000 FT AGL but the answers listed have 2 1500 FT ### 3/5 — It’s good, but falls short of great. *2019-03-16, version 1.9.4* This program could easily be the perfect study tool. However, typos in some of the questions [which are drawn directly from transport Canada documents] and poor explanations as to why the correct answer is what it is, prevent it from being so. Some questions are missing from the program. I question whether the authors of this program have ever taken this test. Statements to the effect of, “you are expected to know this material as the pilot of an aircraft “are obvious and unhelpful. At least they reference the sections where the answers can be found in relevant class documents. A small amount of additional effort could go along way in making this a truly great tool. ### 4/5 — Helpful but missing questions *2019-06-20, version 1.9.4* Has well enough to pass but for example is missing the heliport question. ### 4/5 — Very good....almost there *2019-05-07, version 1.9.4* If only some explanations when wrong answers given. I'm only giving it 4 stars for the following 3 reasons: The test results bug out and display nothing for a few of my 14 past exams. If the question's answer is too long the indicator showing the correct answer will get cut off of the screen. Most importantly (and most petty) the icon is an eyesore! The hints also break the question down and help you understand what exactly the wording is trying to accomplish. Free app with no ads, every student pilot should have this. 4/5 because sometimes the test results aren’t shown, only the bar with no percentage.
