It only records when it wants to, and I had a recording of someone stealing something off my porch in June and I went back to get it for police records and it deleted ALL of June and ONLY June. Why would you do that? Never a problem. All of a sudden I have to reset or disconnect to get any live video. If I have to buy new cams let me know. If it’s software,I’ve deleted a couple of times. Hate to buy new cams just to have the same issue. I’ve been playing around with it for the last couple of hours and I am totally impressed by this. I haven’t tried the AI part yet, but I hope to in the near future. It uses local storage, so there's no need to worry about data security. I use it to monitor my home’s security at all times and to keep an eye on my cat's activities at home.
