Each topic has a short description for quick review. There are 750 questions in total and you can take quick tests in each category whenever you like without any time restriction. Navigation is easy,but I wasn't able to scroll down to check my scores for recent tests which was very annoying. So I had to find another way to view them. The questions are based on basic theory and very few clinical based ones. This is good to check your basics and a quick review in the end. I wouldn't recommend 'buying' this app. It won't prepare you much for the NPTE. ### 3/5 — Helpful on the Go but not much information *2016-05-12, version 4.2* This app is great for studying on the go, but there are nearly as much information that you can study from. I downloaded this app so I can study while at the gym also to see how Scorebuilders make their products before purchasing the ACE product. I don't know what the reason is but there are very little Special Tests to study. The assessment feature is nice although it does not give you an option to delete single quizzes after completing them. If you want to re-take a quiz you have to delete all quizzes already taken. I feel as though this could be a quick fix to make the app a lot better. Maybe an update could easily take care of this problem. The content is convenient! However, not complete. I was EXCITED to not carry my cheat sheets around for FIM, balance, edema... Measures. I can not find any of them on here! That makes me super bummed. I also can not find ANY treatment ideas. I think this is a huge short coming. This content is also included in board exams... I would like to keep myself from doing the same things repetitively. A way to search content should be added. Especially for the cost of the application. Overall I feel slightly "taken" for the cost. To charge $30 for something that isn't user friendly nor complete is not fair. Being able to delete individual exams would also be helpful and is an option I’ve seen other people discuss too. Score builders should actually read these reviews and listen to their consumers. Overall good way to check baseline knowledge. There are not clinical application questions in this app so if that’s what you’re looking for you’ll need to look elsewhere. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Worth the buy *2022-02-04, version 5.0.009* I primarily used this app to study for the NPTE and passed on my first attempt. As other reviews have stated, this app is not comprehensive. However, I found this app highlights the MUST KNOW details of each area of the NPTE. As I am constantly on my smart phone I found it convenient to have my study material with me at all times. Items that required strict memorization such as burn classifications, wound grades, etc were easily managed as I could glance at my phone and test myself when I had any free time over the course of months. I 100% recommend this app. It will help you to understand what you need to focus on in your academic review and allow you to have crucial info easily accessible. ### 5/5 — Love it. At the time it wasn't yet available to help with my studying so I bought the flashcards as my quick review study tool. Happily, they were great and I passed my exam on the first attempt! (What a RELIEF!) Now that I am working I was psyched to hear that the app was finally available. It has all of the great core info that the flashcards did, but is super handy to carry in my labcoat for a quick reference (especially for all of the lab values and cardiac stuff in acute care).
