### 2/5 — Slow

*2025-01-22, version 2.3.41*

The app is too slow and not efficient to use specially for home care visits. You will waste tome waiting even for as simple as checking patient in and out.

### 3/5 — Still haven’t fixed my main qualms.

*2023-08-09*

PLEASE FIX THE QUALITY WHEN LOOKING AT PAST NOTES! The “view last treatment note” is a feature I love because I can quickly see what I did with my patient last. However, for the past few months it has been so blurry that I can barely use it, especially when attempting to zoom in.
Please please also add the ability to coordinate block scheduling for providers. It’s a pain to have to do it on my home computer vs phone or iPad via app.

Otherwise it’s very easy to use and accessible. Patients seem to enjoy it as well.

### 2/5 — Notification overload

*2023-06-16*

Notifications come too often and there are no controls. For one day, with three exercises, I’ll get maybe 10 notifications - sometimes even after I’ve done everything. It’s demotivating.

### 4/5 — Decent app, sometimes slow and clunky

*2023-05-20*

A simple and easy to navigate app. My biggest issue is having to open every exercise to check it off. It would be nice to have a “complete exercise” button next to each exercise in the HEP list. Especially with slow internet it takes a while just to check exercises off

### 2/5 — A bit confusing and why do I need to log in every time?

*2023-03-14*

The main feature of the app, seeing my PT’s exercises, is buried too many taps deep. That should be front and center. Also why do I need to log in EVERY SINGLE TIME I use the app? It promotes using insecure passwords and creates an unnecessary barrier to care.

### 2/5 — Judy

*2022-10-28, version 2.2.67*

Hopefully this helps. I’ve been having to elder and redownload as the screen can’t be centered at times. I can’t fill out my health notes when it happens

### 4/5 — More accessible

*2022-10-19*

The app is really simple to navigate which is great, but maybe too simple. The options for set, rep, time, etc. are not clickable and should be. I have to consult with my ATC every time I get a new program about how much weight should be lifted and that’s very inconvenient for me being that I’m in Germany and he’s in the US, 6hr time difference. Please allow these options to be clickable for the user.

### 2/5 — needs some love

*2022-09-12, version 2.2.65*

Feels like this was built for providers and patients were an afterthought. I have to use this app almost daily and it:
- spams me with notifications
- has a janky ui
- constantly logs me out
- can’t keep track of when i have or have not started my exercises.

It works, I guess, but really needs some love in the UX department

### 3/5 — Add Block Scheduling!

*2022-07-08, version 2.2.62*

I wish you could block schedule through the app. We use iPads at work and it’s annoying to have to wait to go home on a laptop to be able to make schedule changes.

### 3/5 — Not simple

*2022-01-24*

Looks simple but it’s not. Sometime all the assignments show clearly and you just check them off, other times an exercise will just vanish and it’s hard to get it to come back and complete it

### 3/5 — Font too small and light

*2021-08-11, version 2.1.46*

Can’t quickly see when I’m in the middle of a workout- sacrifices functionality for aesthetics.

### 3/5 — Can’t make up it’s mind

*2021-02-22*

The program can’t seem to decide if it wants to let you check off your assignments or not. Sometimes it’s as simple as a click and sometimes not. Now every time you check one off you have to find your assignment again as it doesn’t go to the next one automatically once you click complete.

### 3/5 — Good app, but login is annoying

*2020-03-31, version 2.1.22*

Overall a good app, but this may be the only app on my phone that requires me to enter my password every time. No storing of the password, no Face ID. The developers need to get with it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Pointless. Doesn’t stay logged in.

*2026-08-05, version 2.5.13*

What’s the point of an app that doesn’t stay logged in to send you reminders?? You have to log in every time you open it. Pointless app!

### 1/5 — Just plain frustrating

*2026-03-08*

I’m on an iPhone. There used to be a problem when trying to connect through a VPN - login would never complete. Now it seems that is broken for me regardless of whether VPN is active or not? So now I have no way of accessing prescribed exercises without just asking my provider directly, creating more work for them. It is so frustrating that for future PT needs, my first question to a potential provider will be “Do you use PTEverywhere?” And if the answer is yes, I’ll move on.

### 1/5 — Great people, Clunky app

*2026-01-15, version 2.4.33*

I hate this app with a passion. It is not user friendly and often disconnects and is little more than youtube links to exercises.

### 1/5 — One of the more useless apps I’ve used

*2025-01-27*

Like the titles says I’m not really sure the purpose of this app. You can’t schedule or contact anyone through this app. I even spoke with my primary PT who said it was his biggest regret ever starting with this company. You can’t schedule or cancel appointments on this app. The only thing it does is show you your upcoming appointment which i already get an email and text once I schedule the appointment in person with my pt. Not to mention I already put it in my calendar to begin with. I have stopped going to the physiotherapist because of this app. Do not use this app unless you like to upset your client base.

### 1/5 — Newest update made it useless

*2024-09-12, version 2.3.23*

I can’t do anything with most recent update 9/11/24! Will not load anything

### 1/5 — User beware

*2020-06-24, version 2.1.26*

This application displays your social security number and Date of Birth. There is no password required to view this information. This is seriously detrimental to your privacy. Contact your employer and tell them how bad an idea this is.

### 1/5 — Blank screen

*2020-03-03, version 2.1.19*

Blank screen after logging in. Unusable App. I’m on an iPhone 11.

### 1/5 — Daily delete & re-download

*2020-03-03, version 2.1.19*

I have to delete it and redownload it daily. It will just show a blank white screen otherwise.

### 1/5 — A lot of work needed on this app

*2020-02-20, version 2.1.18*

Most of the time when I try to go to my exercises, the app won’t load. Only way to get around this is to delete and then reload the app. Not only one device but multiple devices.

### 2/5 — Ghost links

*2026-08-24*

I want to like this app because it allows me to accurately review my PT assignments. I just can’t understand why so much of the font is ghosted. Even logging on to the app with Face ID, the link is nearly invisible. And then once inside the app, the reps and weight for exercises are ghosted. The super dark font that shows “reps” and “weight” are super visible, but for some reason the developers seem to want us to guess at the actual numbers. I just don’t get it!!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works Well for Me

*2025-11-20*

I used MedBridge for my previous PT. I liked how I could mark things off quicker. But I’ve gotten used to this program and like the fact that my PT provider can pop a customized exercise with video on this program for me. That is worth 5 stars alone. If I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment or have a question, I just email my PT and she gets back to me quickly. I remote with my PT for sessions and this program works really well, although it kept stumping me as to how to connect - you just open the program and wait for them to call you! Duh.

### 5/5 — My clients love this app.

*2025-01-29*

I’ve been using PTE for 5 years.

Clients can self schedule, re-schedule online with this app depending on the settings set up by the clinic. 24/7 patient secure settings. Automated form submissions can be set up to be sent to new patients scheduling an evaluation. Most of my clients like the app, as they can conveniently fill out their forms on their phone, as it is mobile friendly. If they select option, they will get alerts as to messages and when superbills are complete.

As a PT, I do 90% of my scheduling, patient messaging ( typed/pictures/voice recordings) invoicing and note completion with the app. Attaching documents, hand written notes or pictures to the HIPPA compliant EMR is a breeze. If you enjoy hybrid documentation; typing and upload hand written notes via mobile phone, PTE supports both.

### 5/5 — incredible app for the clinician

*2024-09-11*

I don't use the HEP feature but absolutely everything else is gold. So thankful for PTE!

### 5/5 — We’ve used it for 5 years! 🧡

*2024-06-11*

I use PTE every day to manage hundreds of patients. It is highly customizable, easy to use, and the best thing of all is the kind, effective and prompt help from the technical support team. They've made updates to the software based on our feedback, they have great training resources, and have just overall stellar service! All the starsssss!!!!

### 5/5 — Pelvic floor occupational therapist

*2024-02-02, version 2.2.85*

Love the app! Great for documentation and easy to create forms! I would recommend.

### 5/5 — Best Software & Customer Service

*2023-04-14*

We at Off The Block PT are so pleased with PTEverywhere! We highly recommend them!

### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2022-04-24, version 2.2.55*

The PtEverywhere app has been a game changer for me as a physical therapist. It allows me to work on the go - scheduling, documenting, taking payments, etc all on my phone. It’s great for patients too as they can quickly pull up their appointments or message me without being on a desktop. The customer service has been very quick to respond and offer solutions to any needs that I have!

### 5/5 — Great Customer Service

*2021-08-12*

Andy was very helpful with answering my questions and helping me become more comfortable with using the software. I never felt rushed on the phone call.

It is upsetting that there is an up charge if you want to text patients instead of email them.

### 5/5 — I love this app

*2021-08-04*

I just started my own PT business and love that this is a one stop shop for me and for my patients. It makes the administrative side of my business flow so easily. The staff is also very responsive to emails and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this software. Also there is no percentage taken out of payments!

### 5/5 — Customer Service is Outstanding

*2020-10-30, version 2.1.33*

I’m the office manager for a PT office, so I spend all day using this software. It had some glitches a year ago, but the PTE staff has systematically whacked them to oblivion. It runs really smoothly now! But by far, the best thing about PTE, is the patient, knowledgeable, kind, prompt nature of their customer and tech support. They have been responsive to my suggestions, clear in their instructions to me, and prompt EVERY time I reach out to them. They are the bee’s knees!!
