Like red zone or heavy vechile or silencer report is almost less used by me so I can make my own fav list, this will help in quick reporting. ### 2/5 — Needs upgrade *2026-04-09* By the time you open the app, select the right option. Worst app ever i seen, Did not get response as expected and dont think this reports are really review by traffic police department ### 2/5 — Non operational Customer Care Number *2025-11-10, version 5.0.6* The customer care number that is provided on the app conveniently does not allow incoming calls to that number. Also, they reject valid complaints saying that the violation type is wrong when it is clearly the right violation. I placed a complaint for a police vehicle which was double parked in a new parking zone on Ferguson College Road, but it was later rejected because of incorrect violation type. ### 1/5 — Needs Major Improvements *2025-10-15* The idea behind the PTP app is really good — allowing citizens to report traffic violations. But in reality, it’s not practical. The app forces users to capture live images from within the app, which is almost impossible while driving or when violations are seen on a dashcam. Why not allow uploads from the gallery or dashcam footage? Also, the in-app camera quality is very poor — even iPhone photos come out blurred and unclear. It seems the app was launched without proper testing or understanding of how citizens would actually use it. Authorities really need to rethink this approach if they genuinely want public participation in improving traffic discipline. ### 1/5 — Looks like a scam *2025-10-10, version 5.0.6* The app rejects basic footpath parking violations even if the evidence photo is on point and clicked very properly. I have reported about 6 different incidents like potholes, abandoned vehicles etc in the last half a year and the status is just ‘under review’. from day 1. No one does that in the middle of the traffic. It should be possible to upload recording of the dashcam to report violation. If I had got the notification for the first time I would’ve known parking is not allowed over there. With no notification received I was unaware and now I have to pay 3k???? ### 1/5 — Lot of scope for improvement *2026-05-11* Every time when i try to open the application it asks me otp to login. While reporting a violation there is no scope to add any comments. There are times where the number plates are not visible due to fancy font. While reporting these violations , the camera is not able to take clear images as zoom doesnt work. And the violations are rejected because the number plate is not visible. ### 1/5 — Get MAHA TRAFFIC APP INSTEAD. *2026-05-08* Ineffective and inaccurate app. But cannot upload clear photos. The app uploads bad quality images. This results in responses like “vehicle number unclear” and “unable to read number” which results in a total waste of effort. The app for some reason logs the user out on its own. So whenever you want to upload something, you have missed the opportunity because you’ve to re login and wait for OTP. There isnt even a traffic cop sitting and viewing these. Its just control room verifying the violations and declining at will. MAHAtraffic app is much better. ### 1/5 — Can not add image/video from gallery *2026-04-30* App doesn’t allow to upload images/videos from gallery. So rider/driver has to use mobile app to capture image/video using app to capture someone violating the rules. How is this even practical? Or break a rule to report a rule violation? ### 1/5 — Images are getting blur after submitting violations *2026-04-30* Whenever we upload any photo it blurs the image after submitting violations ..however before submitting we can see number but when we submit it blurs..so many submission gets rejected due to unclear images.. has to fix this otherwise this app is no use ### 1/5 — No option to report ‘No number Plate/ Incomplete number plate’ offence. *2026-04-12* Currently, there is no proper way to report vehicles without number plates or with incomplete number plates. Unfortunately, this has become very common in Pune. Many such vehicles are often involved in rash driving, accidents, and road rage incidents. Some of them are even covered with illegal black films, making identification even more difficult. This raises a serious concern — who is held responsible if such a vehicle causes harm or an accident? At present, there is no effective way to file a complaint against them. Even if a citizen captures a photo, it becomes useless without a visible or complete number plate. I sincerely request Pune Police to consider implementing the following measures: 1. Provide a reporting option in the system/app that allows citizens to submit: • Photos of the vehicle • Location details • Time of the incident (without requiring a vehicle number) 2. Enable quick action mechanisms such as: • Tracking vehicles through CCTV networks • Immediate interception or seizure of such vehicles 3. Impose stricter penalties, including: • Heavy fines (₹50,000 or more) • Vehicle seizure for repeated violations 4. Increase enforcement and fines for all traffic violations to restore deterrence, as currently there is very little fear of breaking traffic laws in Pune. These steps will empower responsible citizens to report violations effectively and help improve overall road safety in the city. ### 1/5 — Great Initiative but no response *2026-01-17, version 5.0.7* This is a great initiative to keep things standard. But all my complaints are unread. I have attached good quality photo and vehicle number, but what’s the use if no body is taking action on it. ### 1/5 — Very bad app *2025-11-30, version 5.0.6* It dosent have an option of uploading from the photo gallery , will people keep there app open every time when people are voilating on the moving road ? I strongly suggest introducing a reward system for users who report valid violations. Even a small incentive of the collected fine, would motivate more people to actively participate. This will encourage mass reporting, increase accountability, and help make our city safer and more traffic-violation free. A reward-based model can truly scale the impact of this app. ### 5/5 — Much needed app for lawless pune *2025-11-04* Most traffic violation issues resolved in 1 day. It even sometimes generates challan for reports. But app compresses the image soo much that number plate becomes unreadable and challan doesn't gets generated and culprit goes free.
