### 5/5 — Amazing

*2022-09-08, version 1.0.8*

After the initial two 20 minute sessions I had gained insight into why I had become an extremely over anxious passenger in a car. I was so bad even I realised I was going to cause an accident one day. I was also an extremely nervous driver and I was passing the anxiety onto the passengers. After a week of listening to Ed twice a day, all anxiety had gone! I know it would have taken months of therapy to get to the root cause but this was like magic!
A few months further on now my driving problems are still a thing of the past.
I have always been a very ‘jumpy’ person and Ed was helping with this. It has got to the stage that my family say “Have you been listening to Ed?”
“We thought not. Go and listen”
I suffer from IBS and know it is linked to stress. I’m now determined to listen to Ed every day. I have found that as I wake up around 6am, listening before I get up puts me in a calm place for the rest of the day.
I cannot thank you enough Ed. Listening to you brings up such unexpected things which I can think about, put to bed or sort out for myself.
Definitely the cheapest and by far the best therapy I have ever had. Thank you again. 13Gini

### 5/5 — Transformational

*2022-07-18, version 1.0.6*

Ed can help has seriously helped me with my university work and has enabled me to cope with the stress and anxiety of the workload. My sleep has also improved and I am easily getting 8 hours a night!

### 5/5 — What a relief.

*2022-06-30, version 1.0.6*

Using this app has helped me reduce both the physical and mental symptoms of PTSD and chronic anxiety more than any other therapy I have tried. It helps to make distressing thoughts and negative emotions less intense and overwhelming and over time fade into the background. It is reassuring to know that I now have the app to use at any time I feel I need help rather than having to wait weeks/ months for an appointment with a therapist who may or may not be able to help. Well worth the money.

### 5/5 — Ed Can Help, excellent

*2022-05-18, version 1.0.6*

Excellent app, easily the best of its kind that I have tried.

### 5/5 — Great app, fantastic therapy

*2022-05-02, version 1.0.5*

The sound therapy is literally life changing. It helps me fight my anxieties and get over things in my life; it only requires few sessions for me to ‘find my calm’. I recommend it to all my friends, it’s great. Also app is very intuitive and easy to navigate around.

### 5/5 — Great for anxiety

### 5/5 — Already seen great results

*2022-04-29, version 1.0.5*

After having mixed results with Headspace I was looking for something different and Ed Can Help has already exceeded my expectations. It’s a genuinely great service!

### 5/5 — Incredible Tool

*2022-04-27, version 1.0.5*

I’m someone who is accustomed to burying my head in the sand when it comes to my mental health and allowing my thoughts to spiral to the depths of the deepest bogs.
Whilst I have tentatively tried other apps and tools, nothing has seemed to help with my continuous cycle of struggle.
This app has given me the vital tools to retrain my mind to slow down and halt the downward spiral and instead, find a way to bring me back to a place of calm and comfort.
There is a sense of self empowerment knowing I am taking control of my thoughts and although I am doing the do, in my room, by myself, I don’t feel alone on my journey.

You need to dedicate a small amount of time to it (in the grand scheme of things) but you will get results.
It’s the small wins that amount to the big ones and Ed can help is really helping my mindset to shift for the better bringing with it a new sense of calm.

### 5/5 — Shifts negative thoughts

*2022-02-11, version 1.0.2*

This is an invaluable tool that empowers people to take control of their own mental Heath. I work with high performers and I use the sound in conjunction with my other methods. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — A life changer

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Caused a traumatic episode

*2026-01-07, version 1.0.19*

When I was 19 (I’m now 22) a psychiatrist I had for a time referred me to this app to help with my anxiety. Listening to it was very triggering, I felt unsafe, scared and anxious. When I told my psychiatrist this he simply said ‘well it seems to be working, this is a process that will help’. So I continued to use the app, and these feeling continued, until I had a really intense reaction and hurt myself in panic. I again told my psychiatrist this and he again said this was the app working. I stopped using it after that regardless because I really didn’t want to go through that again. Maybe it works for some folks, but it really didn’t for me, possibly because I’m autistic, or other factors I’m not sure. Point is, use with care, this does not work for everyone.

### 1/5 — Every word matters

*2025-05-12*

Sheeple have a bad tendency to not watch their words. There’s such a thing called NLP for a reason.
You’re telling me this app is a “PTSD and Trauma aid”.
Why would I need help making my PTSD and trauma worse?
It’s always obvious when Americans or Indians write apps because the language is so poor it actually causes more harm than good.

It should read:
PTSD and trauma RECOVERY aid.
Man, how does anyone expect to get better if you can’t even speak or read proper English?

It’s like when people say: He was a BAD criminal.
Nooooo he was successful, which makes him a GOOD criminal!
He was a bad person.

And by the way, the rest of the world has dropped the D in PTSD a decades ago. Finally, after some of us with a brain knew it was wrong and harmful to your mind. So right off the bat this app is harmful.

NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY AMERICANS USE THE WORD WOKE - because it is near impossible to find one American, who is not an oppressed, conformist being who the public wants them to be.

### 1/5 — This sound is painful

*2024-03-11, version 1.0.18*

The sound of silence is better than this app, in fact, watching any video of Ed is probably more effective than what this app purportedly does - 5 seconds of listening to that fella and I’m asleep. Tried the sound, didn’t like it, deleted. Thanks, but no thanks.

### 2/5 — Where is the evidence?

*2025-08-23, version 1.0.19*

I cannot find any independent evaluation or clinical evidence to support this particular app. There is one paper that finds some benefit for the use of digital sound when combined with music, but not when used alone. Also where is their Orcha rating? It is announced but not displayed. Orcha does not recognise apps that score below 65.

### 2/5 — No change after a week

*2023-07-29, version 1.0.17*

I’m mystified by all the positive reviews as this app gives me a headache, the noise is dreadful and thinking about things that make me anxious just leads to more anxiety. I’m glad I didn’t pay as I got it free working for a charity.
Update - a lovely response from the company and I appreciate this helps some so worth a trial if you can get it free.

### 5/5 — Helped me overcome catastrophising.

*2024-05-10, version 1.0.18*

This app really helped me change my life. Last year I went through mental health challenges due to my upbringing. I was going through a personal development change which resulted in catastrophising - the latter feels like you’re unable to control the mind when triggers arise. I followed Ed’s instructions and also made notes of why these triggers arose. The result was being able to breathe and take a minute as triggers arose and change my thoughts. The results are long lasting. My therapist was amazed at how fast I was able to define and move through deep rooted trauma. It also made me realise how much I’ve achieved with trauma so going forward life is much brighter. Huge thanks to Ed and the team.

### 5/5 — Wonderful App

*2024-02-20, version 1.0.18*

Fantastic, powerful healing tool. We have all experienced trauma in some form or other and this app magically eliminates any stress, anxiety or other harmful emotions. All my adult children are using it and I love it. Created by a man with great integrity. People only care what someone knows when they know that someone cares. Ed really cares. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Brilliant!!!

*2024-01-30, version 1.0.18*

This app is brilliant for mental well-being. There are loads of mindset apps out there that don’t work. This app does work brilliantly by transforming overwhelming thoughts and feelings leaving you with a sense of peace and freedom every day. This is a must have app for daily self care.

### 5/5 — Really Helpful

*2024-01-27, version 1.0.18*

This App helped with my EMDR therapy carried out with Ed to assist with overcoming blood test fear.

### 5/5 — Multi faceted help for the mind

*2023-12-04, version 1.0.18*

I have been doing this for over three weeks now. It has helped me in many ways. I find it meditative and as such quietens the chatter in my head within a current overwhelming situation. It has also helped bring up, make some peace, and therefore the ability to process, past negative experiences that have been sitting in the semi-subconscious, but effecting my life. And, it is helping, with work, to reprocess negative thoughts and create a different and more positive story for myself. Thanks Ed

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — A must use app

*2023-07-08, version 1.0.13.1*

This app and the tools used are fantastic for mental clarity , letting go , over thinking and clearing your mind. I feel so much more focused and clearer in my thinking and my emotions. I commit to using this everyday ! Thank you

### 5/5 — Game changing for BPS/IC sufferer

*2023-03-31, version 1.0.13*

I’ve never paid for an app before, but this one was totally worth it for me. I was advised to use this to help me manage feelings of being overloaded that were contributing to my Bladder Pain Syndrome (Interstitial Cystitis).

Using this app has helped keep my stress levels down, which makes pain flare ups less likely. Ed’s advice, when I felt a flare up coming, was to turn on the app, engage with the pain rather than trying to ignore it, and ask what my body was trying to tell me about my mind/emotions. I’ve found that doing this has calmed the flare ups before they really get going. I find this much easier than meditation so I use it a lot.

I’m on lots of medication too so not saying this is a cure all for pain, but it’s been an important part of a holistic treatment that has got me to a much better place. I’m now able to make big exciting plans, like travel, that seemed off limits before.

When using the app to deal with painful memories, I’ve found it’s as if the memory is through a scary dark tunnel - but for some reason having the sound makes the tunnel seem less dark and easier to walk down. Afterwards the memories seem less jagged; as if they’ve been sanded down.

Give it a try. It doesn’t work for everyone, but it’s free for one month which is plenty of time to try it out and decide if it works for you. And if it does work, it’s fantastic value.

### 5/5 — A must go to tool

*2023-03-09, version 1.0.13*

Hi, I have been using this App for the last month and honestly I couldn’t recommend it enough. I ask myself constantly why I waited so long! In the moments where you feel you are going down a rabbit hole, just grab your device and take yourself off for 20mins. It’s like everything, making the time for something extra in a life that already seems jam packed is near impossible but once you start and you are rewarded from the benefits of just 20mins you will find the time, no matter where you are!
I am extremely grateful xx

### 5/5 — Life changing

*2023-01-26, version 1.0.13*

The use of sound therapy has significantly improved my life with anxiety. This app in particular is lovely to use, and has helped to alter mitigate my reactions in stressful situations. I believe that using this app on a regular basis would help anybody who struggles with anxiety and depression.

### 5/5 — Unparalleled Experience

*2023-01-09, version 1.0.13*

This app has positively changed my life. It’s the single most profound thing that has helped me to date to deal with trauma and anxiety. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
