### 2/5 — Notifications

*2026-02-09*

Works but the red number badges on the icon do not go away. I’ve read all messages and confirmed but the badge stays. Only way to remove it is to turn off badges

### 1/5 — Lots of room for improvement

*2026-01-09, version 25.10.0*

Now Everbridge insists that you sign in every 14 days. However, their system cannot count to 14 and I've had to sign in twice in 12 hours. The app just keeps getting worse. Everbridge's second app and still like beta software. Badge notifications do not reset. Subscription via this app are less fun than a root canal; slow and requires multiple attempts. The developers ignore end users. This is a lifeline type app that should be better. I encourage any county municipality looking for an alerting system to keep shopping.

### 1/5 — Notifications don’t work

*2025-12-30*

The notifications are not adjustable in the iOS settings. Pretty much defeats the entire purpose of the app if it won’t allow notifications

### 1/5 — Uninstalled

*2025-12-30, version 25.10.0*

I uninstalled this app and went back to the old one. It doesn’t work well.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-12-25*

Does not work, wait until IT can get things functional as you will waste lots of time trying to migrate and get this to work!

### 1/5 — Notifications Broken

*2025-12-02, version 25.10.0*

Latest update broke notifications for iOS.

### 2/5 — update

*2025-09-20, version 25.3.3*

ADD DARK MODE & widget

### 1/5 — Citizen

*2025-09-07, version 25.3.3*

Worst app ever. Not easy to navigate and impossible to add different cities or counties without adding a new account for each one. Every time that I want to add a new county it doesn’t allow me to because the “username” is already in use. Within the app. Awful. I’m trying to get notifications for a county that has wildfires where my child is in college and this app is garbage. Do the people who create this EVEN USE IT?

### 2/5 — Notifications

*2025-05-07*

Need capability to preview/view safety alerts directly within the native notifications, without having to open the app.

### 2/5 — I wish it worked

*2025-04-24*

I get zero notifications from this app, and after the update I get a poppy that doesn’t even make sense. Uninstalling.

### 2/5 — Notifications

*2025-04-23*

This latest update (25.3.1) broke the app. Simply states Error appeared retry. Tried reinstalling and it happened again

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Truly one of the worst apps I’ve ever seen.

*2026-08-21*

Typically unable to log in, and even when I am, I am unable to set notifications, sync subscriptions. The whole app basically opens the website within an in-app browser. Horrible and unusable which is NOT good for a public safety app.

### 1/5 — Not able to find my City

*2026-07-03, version 26.5.0*

I signed up for this service using this app because my city says to use this app. When i search my city name, state name, or zip code nothing is found. As a result i can not follow my city and do not recieve notifications. App appears completely broken.

### 1/5 — Can’t even create an account

*2026-06-27, version 26.5.0*

I signed up for alerts on my county website which suggested getting this app. Tried using the everbridge credentials for the account created online & it doesn’t work. Tried using the app to create a new account. The app redirects you to a website where you enter your email address, then it gives a message that it emailed you a verification code. I never got the code, and yes, I entered the correct email address & checked my junk folder. I tried multiple times on different days and still never got the email. I’ve been a software engineer for 25 yrs so I’m tech & coding savvy. My hunch is this app always abandoned by Everbridge. Don’t waste your time on this junk.

### 1/5 — Never loads

*2026-06-26*

Every time the 14days is up i can’t even log back into the app and it keeps saying failed please fix your app and I’ll give it more stars

### 1/5 — Unreliable and untested

*2026-06-15*

1 star is generous. This company just doesn't do any serious testing before releasing a buggy app. They offer no Customer Support to civilians and they seem to offer just as Little to the municipal staff that purchases the product. Constant demands to login are just completely unsafe. The alerts that are sent out could be tremendously valuable to help people avoid being stuck on a highway that turns into a multi hour long parking lot following an accident however, if the system logged you out you cannot safely login while driving. It really makes me wonder how they perpetrate this fraud on our county government.

### 1/5 — NOT “set and forget”

*2026-03-21, version 26.0.0*

i have SO MANY problems with this app, alerts are delayed, uses so much battery, and WHY DO I NEED TO LOGIN EVERY 14 DAYS? please fix your broken app.

### 1/5 — Bad bug

*2026-03-07*

This “upgraded” app has a serious flaw that prevents this user from opening the app. The new account and sign-in protocol is broken. When I try to log into my account it tells me my phone number is not found. When I try to create a new account, it tells me the SAME number is already linked to an account. This creates an infinite loop wherein one cannot login nor create a new account if they used the older version of Everbridge, which has been deprecated.

This problem exists now through all versions of the new app.

Worse yet, you HAVE TO LOGIN to get any technical support.

Considering this is a Public Safety app, this is untenable.

### 1/5 — Fail

*2026-02-25*

My old login is gone. It won’t let me log in without sharing my phone number. They can keep their app, I’ll keep my data to myself.

### 1/5 — Notifications

*2026-02-22*

Having same problem as newvillage77 did back on December 15. I’ve read all the notifications and confirmed receipt but app keeps popping up with a notice. Please fix this. It is annoying.

### 1/5 — USELESS

*2026-01-23*

The old everbridge app stopped sending alerts and prompted me to migrate to this new app, which I did. It prompts me to sign in with my original credentials, but every time I submit the info and take the “I’m not a robot” test it just loops back around to prompt me for me credentials again. There is no typo in my credentials because I use Apple’s Passwords app to auto-fill and it works to login to the old everbridge app. I’ve re-entered my login and passed the robot test a dozen times in a row and still can’t get logged in. Good riddance everbridge!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — New features!

*2025-08-12*

This app seems to be getting more updates! I don’t often look at the app but I opened it and it shows me the logos for the agencies I subscribe to in my notifications like the old app did.

### 5/5 — Keeps us abreast

*2025-07-10*

It’s been helpful to keep up w/ storm warnings, missing persons, & unsavory characters in our community. I’m grateful to be in the know.

No problems.

### 5/5 — Better than original app

*2025-04-16*

Much easier sign-up process than older Everbridge app.

### 4/5 — The idea is great

*2023-03-31*

But I am having trouble trying to subscribe to multiple groups. I login and it asks me to try again later. I try later and get the same message.

### 3/5 — Notifications Need Work

*2025-12-15*

I had to reinstall this app because it was not recognizing my account and kept saying I didn’t have one. Now I can’t seem to delete notifications I’ve already received and read. It’s annoying to see the notifications indicator when I close the app even though I’ve already read it.

### 3/5 — Lots of room for improvement

*2025-12-04*

Where I live, we rely heavily on Everbridge. We are in Vail, Colorado where the interstate runs right down the middle of a very long valley. Lots of accidents lots of road closures. This app is really irritating. It supposedly requires logging in again every 14 days as compared to the old app, which did not require this. However, it's making me login more than once a week highly irritating. I'd like to see an option in the settings to remain logged in never requiring logging in repeatedly. I've shared the same feedback with our county public safety leadership.

### 3/5 — update

*2025-08-10*

add dark mode

### 3/5 — Weird operation but it works primarily

*2025-07-04*

I am first confused a lot since there are two mobile apps and then this one. I’m finding it perfectly difficult to manage this one with regard to settings. I need to remove a notification but have no option to do that. Plus I have a log of many text notifications and can’t see any option to clear.

However it does notify me. Managing it is a wall I can’t scale.

### 3/5 — App unavailable, “Error appeared“

*2025-04-24*

Screen today said only “Error appeared “ on an otherwise blank white screen, with a Retry button below which doesn’t respond. So I deleted the app, redownloaded, it looked normal again, I searched for and signed back in to my accounts, and now it’s doing it again— “Error appeared “. Argh!

### 3/5 — Nice but no way to delete old notifications

*2024-01-10*

Hello, can someone from development please respond. How the heck do you delete old notifications? I am a private citizen who has this app on her iPhone
