The puff counter you never have to unlock your phone for. Whether you vape or smoke, cutting down on nicotine starts with counting. But when a craving hits, you unlock, hunt for the app, wait, tap — and most days, the log just never happens. Every other puff counter loses the battle right there. PuffTap deletes every step between the craving and the count: one tap, logged, phone back in your pocket. Smoke cigarettes instead? Tap once for each one, and PuffTap keeps your cigarette count, daily limit and streak the same way. LOG FROM ANYWHERE — WITHOUT OPENING THE APP • Control Center — tap the PuffTap control, even from the Lock Screen • Lock Screen widget — glance, tap, done • Action Button — press to log (iPhone 15 Pro and later) • Siri — say "Log a puff in PuffTap" • Home Screen widgets — count, goal, and streak at a glance, with one-tap logging SEE YOURSELF CUT DOWN • Today's count against your daily goal, on a ring that fills as you go • Time since your last puff — a live timer that grows every minute you hold out • Today, hour by hour — see exactly when the cravings hit • 7-day trend — watch the line fall • Streaks for every day you stay under goal • Lower your goal as you taper off, and quit vaping gradually at your own pace • Log resisted cravings too — the taps you don't take count KNOW YOUR PATTERNS • Your heaviest hours of the day and days of the week • A 4-week trend and your longest streak • Money saved versus your starting habit PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No sign-up. No ads. No tracking. Your puff data never leaves your phone — there is nothing to leak and nothing to sell. NO SUBSCRIPTION. EVER. PuffTap is free. Not free-for-seven-days. Not free-until-the-paywall. Free. Quitting is hard enough. Counting shouldn't be. Get PuffTap, add the Control Center control, and log your next puff before your phone is even awake. ## Is PuffTap safe? Not enough ratings yet to assess PuffTap. ## Is PuffTap legit? Settings also has a Rate PuffTap row. Nothing changes in your counts, goals or settings. Still free, with no account, ads or subscription. ### 1.2.2 — 2026-10-05 Housekeeping release: nothing changes in your counts, goals or settings. Still free, with no account, ads or subscription. ### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-24 You can now share PuffTap, write an App Store review, and open help or the privacy policy from Settings. Still free, with no account, ads or subscription. ### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-17 A new look — and one new number. • NEW: Time since your last puff. A live clock that grows while you hold out, with today's puffs laid out hour by hour. • Redesigned dashboard: a brighter progress ring and more depth. It looks especially good in Dark Mode. • Every button now answers the instant you touch it, with haptics that land on the tap. • Friendlier onboarding, with a Back button and a live demo of how logging works. • Clearer setup guides for Control Center, the Lock Screen, the Action Button — and now Home Screen widgets too. • Cleaner Settings, with your daily limit front and centre. Still no account, no subscription, no ads. ### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-14 New: Insights. See when you puff most by hour and weekday, your longest streak, and how much money you've saved compared with where you started. Plus small fixes and improvements. ## Apps similar to PuffTap | App | Rating | Price | Category | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | [Puffly: Quit Vaping Tracker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/puffly-quit-vaping-tracker/id6788480334) | — | Free | Health & Fitness | | [PuffDown: Quit Vaping Tracker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/puffdown-quit-vaping-tracker/id6782325187) | — | Free | Health & Fitness | | [BodyQuota](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/bodyquota/id6762296124) | — | Free | Health & Fitness | | [GPF Stop Smoking](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/gpf-stop-smoking/id6759336988) | — | Free | Health & Fitness | | [Less Puffs: Quit Vaping](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/less-puffs-quit-vaping/id6762602154) | — | Free | Health & Fitness | | [TotalBodyIQ: Muscle Map & Log](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/totalbodyiq-muscle-map-and-log/id6760733953) | — | Free | Health & Fitness | ## More apps by Idan Chen Rokach - [Migraine Detective: Triggers](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/migraine-detective-triggers/id6813149314) - [Eaves Home Maintenance Tracker](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/eaves-home-maintenance-tracker/id6814741929) - [Snug: Cozy Daily Logic Puzzles](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/snug-cozy-daily-logic-puzzles/id6815366788) - [Recently Deleted: Cold Case](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/recently-deleted-cold-case/id6816094645) - [Dozy: Cozy Pet Alarm Clock](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/dozy-cozy-pet-alarm-clock/id6818341729) All apps by Idan Chen Rokach: https://appshunter.io/developer/6803587923 ## Related topics [wvltc connect](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/wvltc-connect) · [puffco peak connect](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/puffco-peak-connect) · [joker smoker member](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/joker-smoker-member) · [cigarette & vape counter](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/cigarette-vape-counter) · [puffco peak](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/puffco-peak) · [puff counter smoking tracker](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/puff-counter-smoking-tracker) · [no vape counter](https://appshunter.io/ios/topics/no-vape-counter) --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
