## What is Pulsar Player?

** Spotify Premium REQUIRED - 100% Free, No Ads, no Promos! **

Easily navigate and begin playback of tracks from your Spotify Playlists, saved Tracks, Albums and Recently Played all from your Apple Watch!

Tired of listening to one Playlist over and over? What about having to get your phone out of your pocket during a workout to choose another Playlist? With Pulsar you can simply hit the back button on your watch from any Playlist, Album, Track or Recently Played list and select another.

• View and paginate through all of your Playlist, Albums, Tracks, and Recently Played from your Watch
• Continuous play! Pulsar will automatically play the next set of Tracks from your Playlist, Albums, Tracks, or
Recently Played. Playback will continue until it reaches the end!
• Play, Pause, Skip forward or backward and adjust the volume (watch touchscreen) from your Watch or iPhone
• 100% Free. No Ads or Promos. Simply enjoy your music

Note:
--------------------------------
Pulsar does not play music on your watch, you are still required to connect your headphones or Bluetooth devices to your phone, music will be emitted from your phone. Pulsar allows you to navigate, select, and choose to play tracks from your watch without the need to do so from your phone.

To date, Spotify does not provide an SDK for watchOS, which means I cannot allow playback directly from the Apple Watch. If at some point Spotify allows streaming from watchOS I will work on allowing playback directly from the Apple Watch.

Pulsar uses content provided by Spotify but is not sponsored, endorsed, certified or otherwise approved in any way by Spotify. Spotify is a registered trademark of the Spotify Group. Spotify Premium is required to use this application.

## Key features

### 1/5 — Warning!! You’ll probably get phished if you use this!

*2024-07-12*

garbage, does not work, hasn’t been updated in 5 years. probably a phishing/security breach at this point. launch app on phone, approve spotify login, go to app on watch to connect watch to phone… no. Just infinite cannot connect to phone but sure have pure access to my spotify account! No thanks! Let’s go spotify just add apple watch mechanic already.

### 2/5 — did not work

*2023-10-25*

Whenever i try to play a song it gets stuck on loading

### 3/5 — Taking to long to load

*2023-06-21, version 1.7*

My music is taking to long to load on my phone

### 1/5 — Doesn’t recognize premium account

*2019-11-15*

Waste of space. Doesn’t recognize my premium Spotify account and thus won’t allow me to login. No support or help link available; just kicks me out. Don’t waste your time and energy downloading and installing.

### 4/5 — Great potential

*2019-02-18*

This app does what it says it does. No hiccups. If you can add volume control via the crown and a complication icon (it's there but no icon) please. Unfortunately, it does not do what I want; play music directly from my watch. Like the developer said, this problem stems from Spotify's end. Best of luck!

### 3/5 — Revision for the app

*2019-02-06*

Is there anyway between the app n Spotify can a revision be made to not have the phone on you while using the app through the watch. It’s kinda pointless to have the app for the watch when I have to have my phone on me anyways. Kinda feel like it would use 2x the data n it’s a hassle to have my phone while I run

### 1/5 — No point

*2019-01-05*

I don’t see the difference between this and the Spotify app other than it lags badly

### 1/5 — Doesn't work with new apple watch

*2018-12-01*

I have a 40mm version 5.1.1 apple watch and IOS 12. Spotify premium. My phone never connects with my watch, even though both are running the app. I even tried having Spotify playing in the background. Too bad it doesn't work.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work even though “fixed” this week

*2018-10-19, version 1.7*

Keeps locking on launch app on iPhone. The problem hasn’t been fixed! This app is not Much use if you can’t use Apple Watch controls independently of iPhone. Crap

### 3/5 — Good app but...

*2018-10-17*

No icon on the Apple Watch. It’s a blank space.
Have to launch the app before you launch Apple Watch app. If I launch the app on my watch, it should launch the app on my phone automatically.

Your so close! Fix these issues and it will be a 5 star app!!

**Developer response:** slr1966,

Thanks for the encouraging words, really appreciate it. I'm working on resolving the blank app icon on the watch (never happened before) but I believe I know what it is. I've also made some improvements to streamline the flow, the idea is you'll only need your phone to login, and your tracks will play in the background. Bit more testing to go!
